A homeowner from Minneapolis, MN, was dealing with a deteriorating front walkway. Over time, the concrete had been sinking, creating numerous trip hazards. More so, the sinking concrete had allowed for the slabs to be taken over by grass and weeds. Not wanting the issue to get worse, the homeowner decided to begin the search for a company that could help fix the problem. During his search, he found the American Waterworks website and signed up for his FREE estimates. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nick S, headed to the home to assess the situation.
Once Nick completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendation. Nick informed the homeowner that American Waterworks could address the sinking slab with the help of our PolyLevel method. He elaborated, saying that our PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into its desired location. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan, and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.

A Minneapolis, MN, homeowner was dealing with a leaky basement. Each time it rained, the homeowner was left with leaky basement walls and standing water. She no longer wanted to deal with the nuisance, so she began to look for Minneapolis basement waterproofing. After hours of combing through results, she found our website and decided to sign up for her FREE estimate. Several weeks later, Eric H, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the property to see what could be done.
Once Eric finished his thorough inspection, he was ready to make his recommendations. First, Eric recommended the use of our CleanSpace. He explained that CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets applied directly to the walls. It works to catch water entering through porous holes or cracks in the wall, directing it downward and into a perimeter drain. The basement lacked a drainage system, so Eric wanted to use our WaterGuard. Our WaterGuard is a French drain that gets applied below the basement floor, but atop the foundation footing, keeping it out of the "mud zone" where other drains tend to clog. The WaterGuard catches water running down the wall from the CleanSpace, as well as any water entering through the floor, and gives it a channel to flow to the appropriate disposal site, which in this case, was an already placed sump pump. The homeowner liked the sound of our products working hand in hand and decided to schedule her job for several weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Kiko, led his team through a flawless installation. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing her water intrusion issue has a reliable solution!

He went on to say that we finish our lifting and leveling installations with our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro is applied to all cracks and joints in the concrete to ensure that no unwanted element permeates the concrete. Our Foreman, Troy, and his crew then began the installation process by strategically drilling holes in the problem slabs to inject the PolyLevel foam. After this process is done, the crew followed by using our NexusPro solution, a silicone-based sealant that seals the joints and cracks to protect the PolyLevel foam from water and water vapor. The NexusPro solution is a tough solution that has a protectant against UV light which prevents it from drying and deteriorating, keeping the concrete slabs connected.

Once he came across our website, he knew we were the company for the job. He called into our office and we set him up with his FREE, no-obligation estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Nick Skillman, headed out to the home to take a look and see what we could do. After his thorough inspection, Nick was ready to make his recommendation. Nick wanted to use our GeoLock C-Channel Anchors to fix the situation. He explained that our C-Channel and Geo-Lock anchors are designed to repair bowed, buckled, and tilting foundation walls. This proven repair technique is faster, less disruptive, and much more affordable than foundation wall replacement. The homeowner agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew showed up a few weeks after the estimate appointment. First, they began by measuring the proper distance for the anchors to be on the wall. Next, they excavated pieces of the yard beyond the foundation so the anchors had nicely compacted virgin soil to be anchored too. Then they drilled holes through the foundation, connecting the anchor plate on the exterior with the inside c-channel. Finally, they tightened the anchors and backfilled the excavated areas of the yard. In total, Kiko and his crew ended up installing 4 anchors along the problem wall. Once the job was completed, our customer was happy to know his foundation worries were in the past.

A homeowner in Minneapolis, MN, was enjoying her basement when she made an alarming discovery-her basement wall was cracking! Wanting to address the issue sooner rather than later, she began to search for companies in her area that could help her with the project. She stumbled upon our website and decided to call in and claim her FREE, no-obligation estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Rick, was scheduled to head out to her home to complete his thorough inspection. Once Rick's walk-through was complete, he was ready to make recommendations as to how we could help. Rick suggested using our C-Channel and Geo-Lock Anchors to correct the problem. Rick explained that channel anchors are a versatile, effective system that can stabilize walls that are bowing, tipping, pushing in at the bottom, tilting in at the top, or showing similar signs of failure. They are installed with minimal disturbance to your lawn and landscaping, often in a day or less. The homeowner agreed with Rick's recommendation and the project was scheduled.
Our Foreman, Victor, and his team arrived at the job site a few weeks later and immediately got to work. First, the team looked at the interior wall and verified Rick's measurements. Next, they excavated holes outside, beyond the foundation, so the anchors had hard-packed virgin soil to anchor to. Next, the team drilled holes into the basement wall and ran a long steel pole through the hole to connect to the anchor outside. They then mounted the channel anchors and secured them to the floor to address the shearing of the wall. Finally, they tightened the anchors and backfilled the holes. Once the job was completed our homeowner was happy to know that her foundation concerns were a worry of the past!

A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN, was worried about the safety of their foundation. Although it did not seem like a huge issue, the homeowner knew they needed an expert opinion. While reading Shopwise MapleGrove, the homeowner saw one of our eye-catching advertisements. The homeowner saw they offer foundation repair services, so they decided to call in and sign up for their FREE estimates. After the details were finalized, Daniel, one of our Design Specialists, traveled to the home to begin the estimation. Once Daniel completed the estimate, he found that the wall was showing early signs of wall failure. To stop the failure from continuing, Daniel suggested stabilizing the struggling walls with GeoLock anchors, our innovative wall system. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they agreed with Daniel's suggestions. The plans were sent to our Foreman, Luis, and his crew, so they could start production preparations. When they arrived, the crew installed 28 GeoLock anchors around the entire foundation perimeter. The crew installed the GeoLocks by digging a section of the ground to place the first GeoLock anchor. Once the GeoLock is in place, another anchor is attached to the interior wall. Both GeoLocks are connected by a small, steel pole direct through the ground. Once the GeoLocks are secured, the soil is put back on top of the ground. Along with the GeoLock installation, the homeowner asked that the tightening kit be included as well. This will allow the homeowner to straighten their walls over time. As soon as all the products were installed, the crew put the basement back together and left it as good as new. The homeowner was grateful for the work done by the crew and relieved to know their foundation was stable. If you are experiencing a similar issue, sign up for your FREE estimate today!
A homeowner was enjoying their fireplace in their basement when they noticed a puddle of water as they got up. Worried about what that could mean for their home and how the damage could lead to more problems, they began to research companies offering water proofing services in the area. Seeing American Waterworks pop up on their search page, they decided to click in and see what we were all about. They discovered our FREE estimate services and liked the idea of having a professional to talk through what the issue was before committing to a product installation. They contacted our team and set up a free estimate with our Design Specialist, Jesse Williams, who visited the home to see what the problem was. After seeing the water damage in the basement, Jesse knew what would stop the issue and prevent further problems from happening. He explained to the homeowners that installing our WaterGuard system was the best course of action to solve this particular issue because the unique shape and large drain openings of WaterGuard® aid in preventing clogs in the system. The homeowner agreed to the product installation and the project started a few weeks later. When our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his team went out to the home to begin the installation, they began by hanging plastic so that dust wouldn't escape the work area. Next, they jackhammered the concrete next to the leaky wall and dug a trench for the WaterGuard to sit in. They connected the WaterGuard to the already existing sump pump. Finally, they covered the WaterGuard in a fresh layer of concrete to hold it in place. Juan and his team ended up installing 24 ft. of the product into the home. Now this homeowner can enjoy their basement and fireplace area once again!

In the Minneapolis, MN area, a homeowner had become increasingly concerned about the shape of his driveway. It became especially clear to him when an unusually large crack had more recently formed near the driveway and front step of his home. Not wanting this to be a safety hazard for any visitors or himself, he began his research on companies in the surrounding area that could help him out. There was one name that stood out to him in his searching, American Waterworks. Not only did our website provide him with helpful information and positive reviews of past work we had done, but our FREE no obligation estimate service was appealing to him. He was interested in meeting with an expert to hear a detailed explanation of the process and he scheduled an appointment. We sent over Design Specialist, Mike Dexter, to take a look and discuss things over with the homeowner. After agreeing to a plan that would restore his driveway back, Mike sent the information to one of our Formen, Ryan Trogstad, and his crew. When the crew arrived at the site weeks later to carry out the installations, they first began with PolyLevel. They started by drilling small holes throughout the driveway and inserting ports connecting to below the concrete surface. The polyurethane foam was then filled through the ports to fill voids and lift the sinking concrete slabs. The joints and large cracks in addition to the drilled holes were then sealed with NexusPro sealant, a durable and long-lasting solution for damaged concrete. Next, a sprinkle of native sand was applied on top to add a pleasing finish to the sealant. Finally, the crew finished off the job by applying a thin layer of SealantPro on top of the entire driveway to prevent future cracking, discoloration, and flaking. The homeowner was overjoyed to have these issues fixed and thankful for the work our crew did on his driveway.

A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN was enjoying his front yard area during a warm day when he realized just how large the gap in his front stoop had gotten. He decided to reach out to American Waterworks for a FREE no-obligation estimate, as he had heard many great things about our services from a neighbor. When we sent over one of our Design Specialists, Kyle Peters, to the site, Kyle informed the homeowner that the reason the stoop had a large gap was actually due to the sunken sidewalk. The homeowner was surprised by this, and Kyle assured him that this still was a fixable problem. Kyle drew up the plans for the installations and after they were approved, preparations for the actual project began. Our Foreman, Domanik Adams, and his crew members arrived at the home with the needed products and started the process. They began by drilling small holes throughout the sidewalk slabs and inserted ports through them to reach the empty space below. They carefully performed the lift by filling the ports with our PolyLevel, a high-density polyurethane formula to stabilize and lift the sinking concrete. Next, they used NexusPro, a durable and flexible sealant to fill in the holes and the now smaller gap below the stoop. Finally, the crew laid a thin layer of native sand on top of the NexusPro to finish off the project and give the area a smooth look. A homeowner in Champlin, MN, knew it was time to have their patio inspected. Unsure of what could have caused this issue, the homeowner wanted to find answers. The homeowner had a friend who had similar issues, so they asked them for any recommendations. Their friend praised working with us, American Waterworks, and talked about our impressive products and crews. Convinced enough to work with us, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate on our website. Next, Gary was able to present his findings to the homeowner and provide them with a proper solution. The homeowner liked Gary's plan, so they agreed with his recommendations. The plans were sent to the office to be finalized, then to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew to begin. Patrick and his crew made their way to the home and started the lift. To lift the patio back to its original level, the homeowner used PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the slab. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel injection was finished, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks and replacing the joints. The crew utilized NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. The crew begins by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro Sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. Once all the products were properly installed, the crew could clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. A homeowner from Plymouth, MN, received a postcard in the mail from American Waterworks, which highlighted the importance of having your home tested for dangerous radon gas. She was interested to know more about radon so she decided to have her home tested, as she felt it was better to be safe than sorry. When she called in, she scheduled her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, a Design Specialist from our radon and concrete division headed out to the home.
On the day of the inspection, our Design Specialist, Kyle P, headed out to the home. He got right to work inspecting each entry point he felt radon would enter through, as well as getting a better look at the home as a whole to find the best place to install a mitigation system, should it be needed.
Once Kyle finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to go over his findings. In anticipation of Kyle's arrival, the homeowner had already had their home tested, and the results returned at 10.9 pCi/L. Kyle began by answering some questions the homeowner had. He explained that radon is a naturally occurring gas that comes from the breakdown of soil around the foundation of a home. As the soil decays and the gas is released, it enters your home through cracks or small porous holes. Radon is colorless, odorless, and tasteless and, therefore, can go unnoticed in a home. The only reliable way to ensure your home is protected is to have it tested and mitigated if a professional advises you to. Kyle then said that the homeowner had radon rates of 10.9 pCi/L which is way higher than he'd like to see. The Minnesota Dept. of Health recommends taking action to combat radon at any levels that return over 4 pCi/L. Kyle recommended a radon mitigation system to combat the high levels in the home. A typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. When installed by a professional radon mitigation specialist, a radon mitigation system will lower the concentration of radon gas in your interior air to the minimal levels recommended by the EPA and other health safety agencies. The homeowner liked the sound of Kyle's plan, and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our radon production team, led by their Foreman, Dakota, was able to install the radon mitigation system without any complications. Now, our customer can breathe easier knowing that her interior air is clean!

A homeowner from Rogers, MN, was beginning the process of selling her house. Before she could confidently put her home on the market, she knew there were several things that needed to be fixed to ensure she received the most value for her home. One of the larger projects was figuring out how to address her sunken concrete walkway in front of her home. She began to look for concrete repair in Minnesota and eventually found our website. She was impressed with our before and after concrete repair photos and decided to schedule her FREE inspection.
A few short weeks later, Dave S, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home. After Dave completed his thorough inspection, he was ready to make his recommendation to the homeowner. Dave informed the homeowner that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons and that American Waterworks could address the issue using our PolyLevel injection method. Dave explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete surfaces. It fills voids left by soil erosion while simultaneously lifting the concrete back to its desired location. Dave went on to say that he wanted to follow up the PolyLevel with two more of our products to seal and protect the lift. First, Dave recommended our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant is applied to cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete. It's designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and works to prevent water from getting below the slab. Finally, Dave recommended our SealantPro. Unlike concrete sealers available at big-box stores, SealantPro permanently protects concrete with just one application and extends its life by 3-5 times. SealantPro is a state-of-the-art material that bonds with concrete on a molecular level, permanently protecting it from water, dirt, and other contaminants in a single coat. Once applied, SealantPro dries in minutes and is fully cured in just 6 hours, so you can use your concrete the same day. It is simple, fast, economical, and extremely effective. The homeowner liked the sound of protecting her newly lifted concrete and decided to schedule the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Sam, and his team arrived bright and early and wasted no time getting to work. They began by applying our SealantPro to the surface. Because this product requires time to cure to be effective, our team had to return a few days later to install the rest. On the day of the lift, Sam began by verifying the measurements Dave had left for them. Next, they strategically drilled dime-sized holes into the sunken concrete. Next, they inserted the PolyLevel through ports and made sure to closely monitor the lifting process to ensure no over-correction was made. Finally, they sealed the cracks and joints in the concrete with NexusPro. Now, our customer can move on to other projects and confidently sell her home!
A Minneapolis, MN, homeowner noticed that each time he went down to his basement, he was greeted with a damp, humid feeling. He had no idea who to turn to for Minneapolis basement waterproofing, so he took to the internet. Quickly, he found our website and recalled meeting one of our Design Specialists at the home and garden show in Minneapolis. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, a member of our Design Specialist team, Derek V, was headed out to the home.
When Derek arrived, he got right to work evaluating the basement. He met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations when he finished his inspection. Derek explained that he wanted to use two of our products to address the damp basement. First, Derek recommended our WaterGuard. This unique french drain gets installed below the floor slab but atop the foundation's footing. It works to collect water coming up through holes or cracks in the floor, giving it a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. Because the basement lacked a means of disposal, Derek recommended our SuperSump sump pump. This pump is an effective, yet economical solution to basement water intrusion. The SuperSump boasts a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner agreed with Derek's recommendations and scheduled the job for several months later.

A homeowner from Mounds, MN, was in the initial stages of putting his home up for sale. Before the house could be listed, he had a list of updates that had to be made to ensure that the home would be sold for its true value. One of the first jobs was correcting the homes driveway that had been cracking and sinking for a few years. The homeowner took to the internet to search for cracked concrete repair in Minnesota and quickly found our website. He perused through our before and after pictures and was impressed with our work. He scheduled his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nate B, headed out to the home.
Nate got right to work assessing the concrete. When he was finished, he met with the homeowner and informed him that the concrete could be remedied with the help of our PolyLevel injection. He explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands as it's injected beneath sunken concrete slabs. As the foam expands, it slowly fills voids left by soil erosion, lifting the sunken slab back to its desired location in the process. Nate went on to say that he recommended safeguarding the lift with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets installed to the cracks and joints in the concrete and serves as a barrier as it's specially formulated to stand up against harsh weather conditions. The homeowner liked the sound of Nate's plan and decided to schedule the project for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Dylon V, got started by verifying the measurements in the areas planned to be lifted. Next, his Co-Foreman drilled holes into the sunken concrete. Then, they inserted the PolyLevel through the holes, closely monitoring the lift to ensure the slab returned to the proper position. When they finished the lift, they began sealing off the joints. When the job had been completed, our customer was thrilled to know that his driveway was restored and his home was one step closer to being sold!
A homeowner from Maple Grove, MN, was facing a serious issue with their basement. Each time it rained in their area, the homeowners were left with water pooling on their basement floor. He was tired of cleaning up after each storm and was constantly worried about what the water intrusion could do to his home. He began to look for a company offering basement waterproofing in MN. When he found our website, he was quickly impressed by the previous work we had done in his area. He decided to claim his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Adam V, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home.
When Adam arrived at the home, he got right to work assessing the basement of the home. When he finished, he informed the homeowner that we could address the issue with the help of two of our products. First, Adam recommended our CleanSpace wall system. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly on the unfinished walls of a basement. It works to direct water entering through the wall downward and into a perimeter drain. Adam noticed that the basement lacked a source of drainage and recommended our WaterGuard drain. This unique French drain gets installed below the basement floor, but atop the footing of the foundation to keep the drain out of the 'mud zone'; an area where similar drains tend to clog. Adam explained that the WaterGuard has two functions. First, it collects water entering down from the CleanSpace and water coming up from the floor. Second, it gives this excess water a channel to flow freely to the sump pump in the basement. The homeowner liked the idea of our products complimenting one another and signed on the spot.
Sometime later, the project was underway. On the day of the project our team, led by their Foreman, Diego B, was able to successfully install 12ft of our CleanSpace and another 6 ft of WaterGuard. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing that rain water will have no impact on her basement!
