A homeowner in Knapp, WI, saw the cracks throughout their driveway were beginning to split their concrete. Worried about the long-term damages, the homeowner knew they needed professional assistance. The homeowner looked at several concrete repair companies, but only one stuck out, American Waterworks. Although we are known for our basement waterproofing and foundation repair, we also offer lifting and leveling services. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of our Design Specialist, Canon. Canon traveled to the home and began his detailed inspection of the concrete. During his inspection, Canon found that the driveway was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the settlement from continuing, Canon recommended lifting the driveway with our PolyLevel solution. The homeowner wanted a long-term solution, so they agreed with Canon's recommendations. Once they were approved by the homeowner, the plans were passed along to our Foreman, Troy, and his crew. Troy and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. After they arrived, Troy and his crew began by lifting the driveway with PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam solution. The crew successfully lifted the driveway, so they shifted their focus to filling several cracks throughout the driveway. To fill these cracks, the crew utilized NexusPro Crack Repair, a silicone-based solution. After the cracks were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the fantastic work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to resolve their customer's concrete concerns.

PolyLevel Lifts Uneven Driveway in Knapp, WI

A homeowner in Knapp, WI, noticed their driveway slabs were beginning to overlap one another. Knowing they needed a long-term solution, the homeowner began looking into concrete repair solutions near them. The homeowner compared several companies but one stood above the rest, American Waterworks. After reviewing our impressive service line-up, the homeowner knew we were the best option for them. The homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate and awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Canon. After he arrived at the home, Canon introduced himself to the homeowner and started the detailed inspection. Canon determined the driveway was sunken and needed to be lifted back to its original state. Once he found the issue, Canon could draft up a solution that would solve the driveway issues. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner decided to go along with Canon's suggestions. The plans were sent to the office, then to our Foreman, Troy, to begin the project. Once Troy received the plans, he and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, the crew lifted the sunken concrete with PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the slab. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the driveway was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks throughout the driveway. The crew utilized NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. The crew begins by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. After the cracks were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production team started the project by cutting out the concrete around their pre-existing sump pump. Our crew replaced their sump pump with our SuperSump sump pump, which is made to keep basements clean and dry for long periods of time. To complete the project, Arturo and his team replaced the concrete and made sure Rupert and Doris were satisfied with the project!
