Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Half Wall System Vapor Barrier, which prevents mold and humidity and guides water seepage into the WaterGuard. Lastly, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Our TripleSafe is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners because it provides three levels of water protection and solves all three problems in one system. Tom J. in Holmen, WI learned about the dangers of radon and decided it would be a good idea to get his home tested. He read about the services that American Waterworks provided through the newspaper and was pleased to see that we offer radon testing and mitigation. He contacted us to have a radon test kit set up in his home. Our Design Specialist, Dustin Loftus, went to his home to set the kit up and was back two days later to read the results. The results showed that the average radon in the home over 48 hours was 5.4 pCi/L. Although no amount of radon is safe, the EPA recommends the homeowner to take corrective action if the results show 4pCi/L or higher.
Dustin thoroughly explained the radon mitigation process and why it is so important to have it installed. Tom agreed and wanted the system installed as soon as possible. We sent a crew out as soon as possible to install the system. The installation only took a few hours and Tom was pleased that he took the proper measures to protect himself and his family's health.
According to the World Health Organization, radon causes 15% of the world's lung cancer cases and kills 20,000 people each year. Shanon R in Bangor, WI learned about the dangers of radon, so she chose to have her home tested by American Waterworks. The results showed that her home had high levels of radon, so American Waterworks walked Shanon through the radon mitigation installation process, listen to her concerns and answered her questions. Shanon was eager to get our radon mitigation system installed so her family's health would no longer be compromised.
Our crew drilled a hole through the floor in the basement to insert a PVC pipe and create a suction point for the radon gas. Then the gas is vented through the pipe and out of the home. Shanon can rest easy knowing that she took the necessary steps to protect her family from this dangerous gas.
Frances M. in Mindoro, WI had learned about the dangers of radon and her home had not been tested yet. She started looking for a radon mitigation company and found American Waterworks in the phone book.
She gave us a call to set up a FREE radon test, so we sent one of our Design Specialists to her home to install the test kit. 48 hours later, he went back to her home to read the results of the test. He found that she did in fact have high levels of radon. He recommended that we install our radon mitigation system so that her health would no longer be compromised. She agreed and wanted the system installed as soon as possible.
We sent a crew to her home to install the radon mitigation. They drilled a hole through the concrete in her basement to create a suction point for the radon. Then they inserted the PCV pipe that the radon would be sucked through and vented out of the home. There is a fan installed at the top of the PCV pipe to ensure that the gas is pushed away from the home. The entire process only took a couple of hours and now Frances' peace of mind has been restored now that she is protected from radon gas.
Craig S. in Shafer, MN had water seeping into his basement and his old sump pump was not able to keep up with the amount of water coming in. While looking for a local waterproofing company, he came across American Waterworks’ website and decided to contact us for a free estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to his home to inspect his basement and to develop a solution for him. Chad designed a thorough waterproofing plan to ensure that Craig’s basement would remain a permanently dry space after the installation. Craig liked to proposal that Chad put together, so he scheduled the installation.
Our production team installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system on the basement floor. They also installed a SuperSump sump pump and our CleanSpace wall system around the entire basement. The WaterGuard properly guides water to the sump pump, which then pumps the water through the discharge line to the outside of the home. The CleanSpace wall system is a vapor barrier that protects the basement from any moisture seeping in and the potential of mold growth. The combination of these waterproofing products has made Craig’s basement a dry, clean and brighter space. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Craig is confident that he chose the right waterproofing solution to protect his basement for the long-term.

A homeowner in La Crosse, WI had noticed the sunken concrete at the front of her driveway, but never did anything about it. After the long winter and spring months, she decided that it was time to take action and fix the problem while the weather was nice out. She started her research on concrete repair companies in the surrounding areas and found the American Waterworks website where she was pleased to find so many positive reviews from past customers. In Holmen, WI a homeowner was tired of his driveway being uneven. Not only was it unpleasant to look at and negatively affected the home's curb appeal, but it allowed for the buildup of water at the top. He wanted to look into finding a concrete repair company that could help him out and make sure the concrete slanted towards the sidewalk for future water to flow down. He found the American Waterworks name during his search of solutions and found that we offered FREE estimates, so he signed up for his own. We got the homeowner's request and sent over one of our expert Design Specialists, Brad Williams, to the home where he carried out an inspection of the driveway. Brad recommended two of our products to solve the problems to the homeowner and he agreed to move forward with the plans. The next steps involved our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his crew prepping for the installations and gathering their materials together. When they arrived at the site, they began the process by drilling small holes throughout the concrete slabs. They inserted ports through the holes to reach below the surface of the concrete and filled it in with PolyLevel solution. PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. Once the PolyLevel was finished, the crew filled in the holes and joints with our NexusPro durable sealant. To finish the project, they laid a small layer of native sand on top of the sealant for a smooth and clean look to the driveway. The homeowner was glad to have the problems fixed and be rid of water pooling up on his driveway.

In La Crosse, WI a homeowner was enjoying his driveway space in the newly warm weather when he noticed just how large the gap was in between his garage floor and driveway. He checked the area closer and was curious about if something could be done to fix the problem. The homeowner had work done by American Waterworks in the past, and continued to have a yearly appointment set up for them to check in. We sent over Foreman Ryan Trogstad and his crew to carry out the installation of NexusPro, an efficient and durable silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks. A homeowner in La Crosse, WI became worried about her basement space after a heavy rainfall from the night before. Sure enough, when she went downstairs to check on it, there were multiple puddles of water at the base of the walls. The water had already caused some damage and she didn't know what the next best step was for the issue. Not wanting the problem to happen again when it rained, she decided to find a solution. Looking online for wet basement restoration services, she found our American Waterworks company. She was eager to get a fix sooner than later, so she signed up for a FREE estimate with us to get started. When Design Specialist Brian Ramirez went to the home, he explained that the reason there was so much water intake in the space was because of the small cracks in pores in the concrete flooring. While these areas were small, they caused major problems when it came to incoming water. Brian knew just what to do for the basement and the homeowner agreed to his installation plans. One of our Foremen, Jeromy Anderson, and his crew arrived at the site and began the project by jackhammering channels along the perimeter of the basement and placing drainage stone inside. Then, they installed the basement WaterGuard drain system followed by more clean stone. A new TripleSafe sump pump was placed in the chosen location and surrounded by clean gravel. Next, the crew fastened our CleanSpace to the walls, which acts as a barrier between the basement and walls and directs incoming water to the WaterGuard. Finally, a layer of concrete was poured in the remaining gaps to protect the newly installed products and keep out dirt and debris from entering. Once everything was cleaned up and the crew ensured the products worked properly, they left the site. The homeowner was pleased with the final results and relieved to have a waterproofed basement.

A homeowner in Bangor, WI was tired of her driveway being disconnected from the garage and wanted to find a solution for it. She was interested in restoring parts of the concrete but wasn't looking to fully replace the driveway. Keeping this in mind, she went online to find a solution that was both effective and wouldn't break the bank for her. During her search, the American Waterworks website popped up and once she learned of our FREE no-obligation estimate offers, signed up for her own. Our Design Specialist, Romeo Vilai, went out the home to talk things through with the homeowner and prepare his recommendations for the driveway. He explained that the reason the concrete had sunken was likely because of soil washout. When water moves though the ground under the driveway, it can begin to wash away the supporting soils that hold it up. The homeowner was surprised to hear this and trusted his plan to fill in the void underneath. When the time for installations came, our Foreman, Patrick Burnes, and his crew began the project by drilling small pencil-sized holes throughout the driveway. They inserted ports through the holes and injected our PolyLevel foam inside to fill in the empty space below the driveway. Once the slabs were lifted back up and were connected to the garage again, the holes were filled with NexusPro sealant. The NexusPro was also used to fill in the joint between the garage floor and driveway. The crew sprinkled some native sand on top for a smooth finish to the driveway project. The homeowner was so excited with the results and knew she would recommend our services to her friends and family.

A homeowner in La Crosse, WI was outside enjoying his front yard space and decided it was time to make some changes to it. He had noticed that the front walkway had sunk quite a bit over the last few years and separated from the porch area. It had left a large gap between the two that was unsightly, so it was the first thing on his list to fix. He went online in search of a solution and found the American Waterworks company website. After learning about our quality products and seeing that we offered FREE no-obligation estimates, he signed up for his own. A couple from Bangor, WI, were growing more and more worried about a sinking concrete slab below their deck. Not wanting it to cause structural issues with the deck, they decided to look into their options. They stumbled across our website and decided to take advantage of our FREE estimates. A few weeks after calling our office, our Design Specialist, Will, made his way out to the house to complete his inspection. Once he concluded, he informed the homeowner that sinking concrete is all too common, and while it might seem like a tough fix, the remedy was fairly simple. He explained that our team would use our PolyLevel solution to lift the concrete back to its desired height. He elaborated by saying that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when injected below slabs. He went on to say that to finish off the project, our team would use our NexusPro, a silicone-based joint sealant that gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete to ensure it doesn't get disturbed by any other elements. The couple agreed and work began a few weeks later.
Our Foreman, Troy, began the project by verifying the measurements and areas of concern that Will had left. Next, he strategically drilled holes into the problem slabs. Then, he inserted the PolyLevel through the holes, closely monitoring the lifting and leveling process to ensure no over-correction was made. Finally, he sealed all of the cracks and joints with our NexusPro. When the job was completed our customers were thrilled to know that their worries were in the past!

A local church in Rockland, WI, was facing issues with sunken concrete. The concrete in question typically had heavy foot traffic by congregants of the church. The church property manager knew something had to be done before someone took a tumble. He decided to begin his search for WI concrete repair companies. One night, he was watching the local news when he saw a television ad for American Waterworks. He decided then that he wanted to get one of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ross J, headed out to the home.
After Ross finished his inspection, he met with the property manager to discuss the next steps. Ross informed him that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons and that he was correct to get in touch with us, as sunken concrete is always easier to take care of before it worsens. Ross assured him that, whatever the cause, American Waterworks could help address the issue with the help of our PolyLevel method. Ross explained that PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected underneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, slowly lifting the concrete back into place. Ross went on to say that once the lift has been completed, our team recommends the application of our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete. It works to prevent moisture from getting below the concrete, protecting the lift. The property manager agreed with Ross's recommendations and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
When the installation date rolled around, our Foreman, Troy, and his team got right to work. They began by verifying the measurements that Ross left behind. Next, they strategically drilled dime-sized holes into the sunken concrete. Then, they injected the PolyLevel. They were sure to monitor the lifting process to ensure no over or under correction was made. When the lift had been completed, Troy installed the NexusPro with no issues. Now, the property manager can enjoy services without worries that a congregant could take a tumble!

A homeowner from La Crosse, WI, was reading a local newspaper when he came across one of our ads for radon gas mitigation. He didn't know much about the dangers of radon gas but decided to enlist the help of the company from the advertisement to help restore his peace of mind. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, one of our Design Specialists, Romeo V, was headed out to the home.
The first portion of Romeo's inspection included placing a continuous radon monitoring test on the lowest level of the home. Romeo explained that the purpose of this test is to record radon levels in the home over a 48-hour timespan, after which time the average level in the home is reported. Romeo carried on with the rest of the inspection, meeting back up with the homeowner when he concluded. Romeo explained that should the test return with higher levels than 4 pCi/L, he would strongly recommend a radon mitigation system be installed in the home. Romeo went on to say that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. He finished by saying that when installed by an experienced professional, the system will lower the concentration of radon gas in the interior air to the minimal levels recommended by the EPA and other health and safety agencies. The homeowner liked Romeo's plan but decided to wait for the results to come back. A few days later, Romeo was back at home to read the results, which came back higher than 4 pCi/L, and then the homeowner and Romeo worked together to find a date for the installation.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Geno M, and his team were able to seamlessly install the system in the home. Now, our customer has new found peace of mind in the air circulating his home!
A homeowner in La Crosse, WI, noticed their walls were quite damp. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed an expert to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into " leaky basement repair near La Crosse, WI", and one of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew we were the best company for the project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Chuck, one of our Design Specialists. Chuck made his way to the home and thoroughly investigated the property. During his inspection, Chuck discovered that the interior suffered significantly from water intrusion. Additionally, Chuck noticed the sump pump was not running efficiently. To prevent these issues from continuing, Chuck recommended fully waterproofing the entire basement. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Chuck's recommendations. Next, Chuck passed the plans along to our Logisitcs team to build and approve the plans. After our Logistics team built and approved the plans, they assigned the project to our Foreman, Lane, and his crew to complete about a month later. Once the project date arrived, Lane and his crew traveled to the home and began the installation. First, Lane and his crew began by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. The WaterGuard is a below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. The crew installs the WaterGuard by digging channels around the perimeter of the basement floor. Once the channels are dug, the crew can go ahead and place the drainage stone in the channels. The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew could shift their focus to removing the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. The crew installed a feedline across the floor to connect the SuperSump+ to the new WaterGuard. Next, Lane and his crew shifted their focus to installing CleanSpace on the basement walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that prevents humidity and mold growth. The crew installs CleanSpace by mechanically attaching them to the basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners. Finally, the crew completed the project by installing and securing the Aprilaire E100, a dehumidifier, in the basement. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. After the estimate was finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Dustin, one of our Design Specialists. Dustin traveled to La Crosse and began his thorough investigation of the home. During his inspection, Dustin found the areas where the water was seeping into the home. Additionally, Dustin discovered the foundation was suffering from settlement. To stop these issues from continuing, Dustin recommended installing Push Piers, CarbonArmor strips, WaterGuard, and a new sump pump. After considering all their options, the homeowner decided to go ahead with these recommendations. Next, Dustin passed the plans along to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Once our Logistics team gave the final stamp of approval, the plans were assigned to our Foreman, Jesus, and his crew. A month later, Jesus and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, the crew started by installing Push Piers on the outside of the home. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing CarbonArmor strips to the basement walls. CarbonArmor is a wall reinforcing system that is a state-of-the-art solution used to fix cracked and bowing foundation walls. CarbonArmor strips utilize epoxy and carbon fiber strips to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls that are cracked or bowed. To install the CarbonArmor strips, the crew begins by cleaning the wall to ensure good adhesion. Then, the technician masks off each carbon fiber strip location and saturates the masonry with epoxy. The CarbonArmor reinforcement becomes part of the wall structure. Then, the crew moved on to installing WaterGuard to the basement perimeter. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the swift work completed by the crew. If you are experiencing a similar issue, sign up for your FREE estimate today!

Our Logistics team finalized and scheduled the project for the following month. Our Foreman, Jose, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the installation. First, Jose and his team prepared the walls for the GeoLock Wall Anchor installation. Next, the crew began the GeoLock Wall installation. The crew installs the GeoLocks by digging a section of the ground to place the first GeoLock anchor. Once the GeoLock is in place, another anchor is attached to the interior wall. Both GeoLocks are connected by a small, steel pole direct through the ground. Once the GeoLocks are secured, the soil is put back on top of the ground. Along with the GeoLock installation, the homeowner asked that the tightening kit be included as well. This will allow the homeowner to straighten their walls over time. Once all five GeoLock Wall Anchors were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew.
