Our production team installed 22 wall anchors throughout the perimeter of the basement. Once the anchors were installed and tightened, Kevin could already tell that the walls had dramatically straightened. Brad in Balaton, MN had large cracks running through his foundation walls in his basement. The soil surrounding the home was expanding and pushing against the walls, which was causing the damage. Our production crew installed 15 PowerBraces along the cracked and damaged walls. PowerBraces can be installed with no disruption to outside soils or landscaping. This foundation wall system installs quickly, immediately and permanently halting the inward movement of foundation walls. The installation process took a full day to complete, but now Brad can rest easy knowing that the foundation of his home is stable.

A homeowner in Minneota, MN was experiencing water seeping into her basement through her floor. She had suffered from a wet basement for a long time, and decided she needed to find a long-term solution. She called the waterproofing experts at American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. Our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, inspected her basement and developed a thorough solution to solve her problem.

We started installing our waterproofing system by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, we installed our SuperSump sump pump, which we connected to the drainage system. Water now properly flows through the drainage system, into the sump pump and is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. We also installed our SaniDry dehumidifier, to remove excess moisture from the basement.

Steve in Tracy, MN had a patio that had settled about an inch and a half. The concrete was poured in 2011 and was still in good condition, however he wanted to have the concrete raised back to its original position. He contacted American Waterworks to learn more about our concrete repair options. We sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his concrete and provide him with a free estimate. He was pleased to learn that our PolyLevel foam solution is faster, more durable and less invasive than traditional mudjacking, so he scheduled the project.

Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes through the concrete slabs to inject the foam. When the foam is injected, it fills the voids below the concrete and lifts it. Once they finished lifting the concrete, they filled back the holes they drilled with concrete and they cleaned their work area. The process only took a couple of hours to complete, and now Steve can enjoy beautiful, safe concrete for years to come!

John K. of Lynd, MN had cracked foundation walls in his basement and wanted to get them stabilized before it was too late. He called American Waterworks to set up a Free Estimate. We sent out one of our Design Specialists to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. After an in-depth inspection, John got an installation date on the schedule. 

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew began the installation process by digging four holes outside of the home. Our crew installed a long, metal rod in each hole, from the soil to the interior foundation wall. On each end of the rod, our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors. Our anchor system provides permanent relief to foundation walls and shifts them back into their normal position. To complete the installation, Matt and his crew replaced the soil and made sure the property was clean. John was content with the outcome of the project, and appreciate our team's efforts!

Next, they screwed on one our GeoLock Wall Anchors on the ends of each rod to pull the foundation wall back into it's original position. Homeowners can also tighten them overtime to make sure they're still effective. Lastly, Jose and his team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil.
