A homeowner in Manly, IA, noticed their basement was not running properly. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed an expert to inspect their basement. The homeowner looked into "basement waterproofing Iowa" and several companies populated. Only one company caught their eye, American Waterworks, so the homeowner took a closer look at our services. The homeowner was impressed with our services, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Ryan, one of our Design Specialists. Ryan arrived at the home, introduced himself to the homeowner, and began the detailed inspection. During his investigation, Ryan found several areas where the water was sneaking in. To stop the water intrusion from continuing, Ryan recommended installing several waterproofing products in the basement. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner knew this was their best option. Once the homeowner approved the plans, Ryan sent them to the office to approve the plans. After the proposal was approved, it was sent to our Forman, Kevin, and his crew. Following their arrival, Kevin and his crew began by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secure, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace on the unfinished basement wall. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the work completed by the crew. I was explaining what it would do and my options and the cost for the various options. I wasn't pressured to do one thing or another. It was up to me. I like that. Water Damaged Basement Repaired in Manly, IA

A homeowner in Manly, IA, was distressed after discovering their basement was suffering from water intrusion. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowners knew they needed to find a professional solution. The homeowner looked into "Iowa basement waterproofing" and the first company to catch their attention was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner was impressed with our work, so they called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Ryan, one of our Design Specialists. Ryan arrived at the home and began his thorough investigation of the basement. During his investigation, Ryan confirmed the basement needed to be permanently waterproofed. Once he completed his inspection, Ryan was able to provide the homeowner was a proposal that would solve the issues in the home. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's solution, so Ryan sent the plans to our Logistics team to build the project. Once the proposal was received, it was sent to our Foreman, Kevin, and his crew. After they received the plans, Kevin and his crew traveled to the home and began the installation. First, Kevin and his crew installed the WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. The WaterGuard is a below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. The crew installs the WaterGuard by digging channels around the perimeter of the basement floor. Once the channels are dug, the crew can go ahead and place the drainage stone in the channels. The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew could shift their focus to removing the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The crew installed a feedline across the floor to connect the TripleSafe to the new WaterGuard. Finally, the crew installed CleanSpace on the unfinished basement walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that prevents humidity and mold growth. The crew installs CleanSpace by mechanically attaching them to the basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners. Once all the products were installed, the crew was able to clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew.
