After a quick online investigation, the homeowner came across the highly-rated American Waterworks. The homeowner trusted our award-winning waterproofing products, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. As soon as the estimate details were finalized, Eric, one of our Design Specialists, was sent to the home to provide the homeowner with some answers. Once Eric arrived, he greeted the homeowner and looked at their concerning wall. Eric looked at the foundation well and recommended having the walls permanently stabilized. The homeowner agreed with Eric's recommendations, so he sent the plans back to the production team. Our Foreman, Jeremiah, and his crew were assigned to complete the project. When they arrived at the home, Jeremiah and his crew began by installing the WaterGuard around the entire basement. The WaterGuard is a below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. The crew installs the WaterGuard by digging channels around the perimeter of the basement floor. Once the channels are dug, the crew can go ahead and place the drainage stone in the channels. The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. After the WaterGuard was installed, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. After the plans were finalized, our Foreman, Jeremiah and his crew were assigned to complete the project. They drove to the home and started by installing the WaterGuard on the south and east wall. The WaterGuard system is our patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. Waterproofing Was Worth it in Worthington, MN

In Worthington, MN a homeowner was concerned about the condition of his basement after a heavy storm that had happened. When he took a look at the space later, he found just what he was worried about. Multiple puddles of water had formed on the concrete floors and had already caused some damage to his belongings. He decided to find a solution to prevent it from happening again in the future and started his search on basement waterproofing companies. During his search he came across the American Waterworks website and was impressed with our past jobs done for other customers and our FREE estimates. He scheduled one for himself and we sent over Design Specialist Lance Schmidt to give his recommendations for the space. Lance arrived at the home and knew what needed to be done and the homeowner was happy to move forward and schedule a day and time for installations. When Foreman Victor Salvador and his crew went to the site, they began the process by jackhammering channels along the base of the walls. Next, they placed a layer of drainage stone in the channels along with the WaterGuard drain system and more clean stone. Then, they connected a feed line for the water to go through from the drain to the new TripleSafe sump system. The CleanSpace was also installed to cover the walls for any future water vapor near the walls to move down to the drain. Finally, the crew placed a layer of concrete on top of the WaterGuard system and around the TripleSafe pump to hold the products in place and provide extra protection. The crew cleaned up the space after installations had finished and left the site in great condition. Damp Floors Repaired in Adrian, MN

A homeowner in Adrian, MN, grew anxious after discovering damp spots throughout their basement following a heavy rainstorm. Knowing this could lead to larger issues, the homeowner began looking into basement repair companies in Minnesota. After looking through several companies, the homeowner's attention was caught by American Waterworks. Impressed with our previous project, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once their appointment was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Ryan, one of our Design Specialists.  Ryan arrived at the home and started his thorough investigation of the struggling basement. Following his investigation, Ryan determined the basement needed to be permanently stabilized and waterproofed. The homeowner wanted a long-term solution, so they agreed with Ryan's plan. Once finalized by the office, they were sent to our Foreman, Chris, and his crew. Chris and his crew drove to the house and began the project. After they arrived, they started by installing 19 GeoLock Wall Anchors, our innovative wall anchor system, on the basement walls. The crew installs the GeoLocks by digging a section of the ground to place the first GeoLock anchor. Once the GeoLock is in place, another anchor is attached to the interior wall. Both GeoLocks are connected by a small, steel pole direct through the ground. Once the GeoLocks are secured, the soil is put back on top of the ground. Along with the GeoLock installation, the homeowner asked that the tightening kit be included as well. This will allow the homeowner to straighten their walls over time. Next, the crew focused on installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew could shift their focus to removing the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. The crew installed a feedline across the floor to connect the SuperSump+ to the new WaterGuard. After all the products were successfully installed, the crew could clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was impressed with the crew's work ethic and excellent results.
