When we sent over one of our Design Specialists, Kyle Peters, to the site, Kyle informed the homeowner that the reason the stoop had a large gap was actually due to the sunken sidewalk. The homeowner was surprised by this, and Kyle assured him that this still was a fixable problem. Kyle drew up the plans for the installations and after they were approved, preparations for the actual project began. Our Foreman, Domanik Adams, and his crew members arrived at the home with the needed products and started the process. They began by drilling small holes throughout the sidewalk slabs and inserted ports through them to reach the empty space below. They carefully performed the lift by filling the ports with our PolyLevel, a high-density polyurethane formula to stabilize and lift the sinking concrete. Next, they used NexusPro, a durable and flexible sealant to fill in the holes and the now smaller gap below the stoop. Finally, the crew laid a thin layer of native sand on top of the NexusPro to finish off the project and give the area a smooth look. The homeowner was impressed with the efficiency of the team and was pleased with the final result of his sidewalk and stoop area.

The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they agreed with Daniel's suggestions. The plans were sent to our Foreman, Luis, and his crew, so they could start production preparations. When they arrived, the crew installed 28 GeoLock anchors around the entire foundation perimeter. The crew installed the GeoLocks by digging a section of the ground to place the first GeoLock anchor. Once the GeoLock is in place, another anchor is attached to the interior wall. Both GeoLocks are connected by a small, steel pole direct through the ground. Once the GeoLocks are secured, the soil is put back on top of the ground. Along with the GeoLock installation, the homeowner asked that the tightening kit be included as well. This will allow the homeowner to straighten their walls over time. As soon as all the products were installed, the crew put the basement back together and left it as good as new. Not wanting to replace either slab, the homeowner decided to go with the Design Specialist's recommendations. The plans were then sent to the assigned crew and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Tyler, and his crew arrived at the home to begin repairs. First, the crew focused on lifting and leveling the concrete in the garage. To lift and level, the crew utilized the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. To install the PolyLevel, the crew begins by strategically drilling small holes around the concrete slab. Once the holes are drilled, the crew installs small injection ports inside. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected below the concrete to fill voids and raise the slab. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. The crew repeats this process underneath the back patio concrete. Once the PolyLevel is installed everywhere it needs to, the crew cleans up their site and moves on to the next project. The homeowners were delighted by the excellent work completed by the crew. Our crew then installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system was to help the drainage system pump water outside and away from the basement to prevent a flood and to keep it dry and clear. When the job was complete, Jinyu was happy that the issue has been resolved and stress-free that his basement floor will be ruined by the excess water entering his basement.
