Jeremy from Glenwood City, WI got in touch with us when he began to notice unwanted water entering his basement. He was afraid that if left untreated, the problem would worsen and cause serious damage. When he called in we set him up with our FREE estimate and shortly after our Design Specialist, Mac, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make his recommendations as to how we could help fix the issue. Mac wanted to use three of our products to rid the space of water. First, he wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to redirect water. Mac explained that this tarp-like material gets installed directly onto basement walls and works to direct the flow of water down to his second recommendation, our WaterGuard French drainage system. He went on to say that the WaterGuard is installed below the concrete flooring and works to direct water to the appropriate location. For that location, Mac recommended a SuperSump sump pump. He explained that this effective and economic solution is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for an extended period of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion, as it's capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Raul, and his team ended up installing 78 ft of our WaterGuard drainage system, 1 SuperSump sump pump, and another 78 ft of our CleanSpace. When the job was complete our customer was happy to know he no longer had to worry about water entering his basement.

He started researching concrete repair contractors and was interested to learn more about the PolyLevel option that American Waterworks offers. He contacted our office and we set up an appointment for a free estimate with one of our Design Specialists. After his estimate he decided that PolyLevel was the best option for him.
We sent one of our PolyLevel experts to his home to install the foam injection. The PolyLevel foam injection is a faster and more affordable alternative to repair concrete. A penny-sized hole is drilled into the concrete and foam is injected where the concrete needs to be raised. Once injected, the foam expands and lifts and levels the concrete. The process only took a couple of hours and Don is pleased that he no longer has a trip hazard on his front porch.
Dan S. in New Richmond, WI had water seeping into his basement. Part of his basement was finished with carpeting and wall paneling; however water was coming through underneath the paneling and seeping through the carpet, causing water damage. He was upset that his property was being damaged and wanted to find a way to fix this and ensure that it would not happen again. Dan came across American Waterworks in the phone book and gave us a call. Shortly after he contacted us, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to his home to give him a free estimate. After the inspection, Dan agreed that he needed to have a partial waterproofing system installed.
Our crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system on one wall of his basement and a SuperSump sump pump to properly discharge water from the home. We also installed our CleanSpace barrier on that same wall to ensure that water would drain straight down to the WaterGuard and not seep through the paneling. Dan now has peace of mind that his wall is protected from water seeping in.
Dan B. in Somerset, WI noticed that his back patio was sinking. He started researching methods of concrete lifting and came across American Waterworks’ website. He was impressed with our PolyLevel concrete lifting method, so he contacted us for a free estimate. We sent a Design Specialist to his home to create a personalized solution for him. Dan was pleased to learn that PolyLevel is more durable, faster and less invasive than traditional mudjacking.
Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete patio and injected the polymer foam, which fills the voids underneath the concrete and raises it. The process only took half a day to complete, and now Dan is enjoying a beautiful, raised patio.
Angie from Baldwin, MN had multiple cracked and bowing foundation walls in her basement so she decided to contact American Waterworks to see what types of solutions we could offer for her situation. We sent out a Design Specialist to her home for a Free Estimate to look at her damaged foundation. After a thorough inspection, he determined that wall anchors could repair and strengthen her bowing walls and carbon armor to prevent any further movement on the other cracked walls.
Our production team started installing the wall anchors by digging out dirt and landscaping from the side of the home. Then they placed long metal rods through the walls and into the soil that surrounded the house. This allowed our crew to tighten the rod at both ends with anchor plates. As the anchors tightened, the walls started to straighten. After installing 11 anchor plates, we then installed 13 strips of carbon armor which stabilizes foundation walls from the inside. Both of these products restored Angie's foundation and put her mind at ease. She was very glad she went with American Waterworks to improve the life and stability of her home.

Our foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production crew began the crawl space encapsulation process by cleaning out all of the contaminated waste inside of the crawl space and made sure it was flat to begin the next steps. Next, our crew installed 416 square feet of our CleanSpave Vapor Barrier System around the perimeter, top, and bottom of the crawl space. Our CleanSpace covers uneven or rigid surfaces that prevent all mold, mildew, and humidity from invading any space, and it gives a very clean and bright appearance! A homeowner in Baldwin, WI, found several standing pools of water throughout their basement floor. Knowing this could lead to long-term damage, the homeowner wanted a homeowner to inspect their basement immediately. Almost immediately, our five-star ratings and reviews caught the homeowner's eye. The homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Soon after the estimate was set, Jesse, one of our Design Specialists, was sent to the home. Jesse introduced himself to the homeowner and they showed him to the basement. After a thorough investigation, Jesse determined that additional waterproofing products needed to be installed. Jesse recommended a solution that would solve all their issues. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to go ahead with the recommended plan. Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew were assigned to complete the project, so they made their way to the home. First, the crew focused on installing the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard is a below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. The crew installs the WaterGuard by digging channels around the perimeter of the basement floor. Once the channels are dug, the crew can go ahead and place the drainage stone in the channels. The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. Once the WaterGuard and feedline were installed, the crew shifted their focus to installing CleanSpace on the unfinished basement walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that is ideal for unfinished basement walls. The crew mechanically attaches the CleanSpace on the basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners, so it will never fall off. After CleanSpace is attached, the crew cleans up their material and leaves the home. The homeowner was in awe of the speedy and wonderful work completed by the crew. She wanted to find an easy solution to solve the problem, without having to replace the concrete as a whole. She looked up concrete repair companies that had positive reviews and found the American Waterworks website. Kyle explained his plans for a PolyLevel installation in the sidewalk so that it would be lifted back up again. The homeowner was interested in moving forward and agreed to the plans. Foreman Troy Johnson and his crew arrived at the site and began the installation process by prepping the area. They first drilled small holes throughout the sidewalk area and inserted ports to connect to the empty voids below the surface. Next, they filled the ports with our PolyLevel solution to reach the empty voids. The expanding properties of the polyurethane allowed for an accurate leveling of the slabs. Finally, they filled the holes back up and cleaned the area from leftover dirt and debris. The homeowner was excited with the results and happy to have the sidewalk smooth and leveled again.

A homeowner from Hudson, WI, had just purchased a home with a radon mitigation system already placed. From what the homeowner could tell, the system wasn't plugged into anything and, therefore, was not doing anything. He quickly found our website and signed up for one of our FREE estimates.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ross J, was headed out to the home. When Ross arrived, he met with the homeowner and informed him that if he was worried about radon gas, Ross would recommend completely replacing the system with our radon mitigation system. The homeowner was unsure about full replacement and admittedly didn't know much about the dangers of radon gas. So Ross explained that radon is a radioactive gas that is emitted from the breakdown of soil surrounding a home's foundation. It creeps into the home through small holes and cracks in the foundation. The gas is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, thus making it completely undetectable without the proper testing. Ross went on to say that the Environmental Protection Agency recommends action with any level higher than 4 pCi/L as the gas is known to alter the lining of the lungs, eventually leading to the formation of lung cancer. The homeowner was grateful for Ross's transparency and decided to install a new system.
Several weeks later, our Foreman, Dakota M, and his crew were out at the home. They swiftly and effortlessly installed the new radon mitigation system, successfully restoring our customers faith in his newest investment!

A homeowner in Glenwood City, WI, knew it was time to have their water damaged basement repaired. Knowing this was a larger project, the homeowner looked into "basement waterproofing near me". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our stellar ratings and reviews, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck, to take a closer look. Chuck arrived at the home and started his detailed inspection. During the inspection, Chuck confirmed water was leaking from the basement walls. Additionally, Chuck noticed their upstairs floors were sagging. Chuck recommended installing several waterproofing products and securing the sagging floors with SmartJacks. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to go ahead with Chuck's recommendations. After the homeowner approved the proposal, Chuck passed it along to our Logsitics team. Next, our Logsitics team built and scheduled the project for the following months. Once the plans were finalized, the crew assigned it to the appropriate crew. After the project date arrived, our crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, the crew started by cleaning the space for installation. Next, the crew installed WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew could shift their focus to removing the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. The crew installed a feedline across the floor to connect the SuperSump+ to the new WaterGuard. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing SmartJacks in the basement. SmartJacks is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. Additionally, SmartJacks are made with strong, corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel. Finally, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew.
