Wet Basement Waterproofed in Williston, ND
Challenge
A resident of Williston, ND had water leaking through their window every time it rained. The homeowner said water was leaking everywhere, causing problems to their newly finished basement. Thankfully, they knew of our Design Specialist, Richie. They talked to Richie about their concerns, and he discussed with them what services we provide and how we could help them. After a thorough inspection and discussion, the homeowner decided to move forward with Richie's quote and set up a date for the installation.
Solution
Our Foreman, Zach, and his crew started the process by introducing themselves to the homeowner and ensuring all of their questions were answered. After a thorough and complete introduction, our crew began the work by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard, which is an interior drainage system that collects water leakage from basement walls and prevents mud or dirt clogs. Next, our team broke out the corner of the basement, forming a hole. In the hole, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, followed by the discharge line. Both of these systems work effectively together to remove water waste from basements by discharging it out of the home, away from the foundation. To complete the installation, our crew filled the open gaps with river rock to guide the water through the system and applied a new layer of concrete over that. Zach finished everything by giving the homeowner a final walkthrough of the work and ensuring they were happy and their expectations were met.
