Knowing they needed a professional to come to their home and take a look, the homeowners began looking for the best options near them. Recently there has been some flooding in the area, the homeowners asked friends in nearby towns if they had any suggestions. Several of their friends recommended working with us, American Waterworks. Once they arrived, the crew began by installing 19 GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the basement. Once the GeoLocks were properly installed, the crew dug and placed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Additionally, Chris and his crew installed a new sump pump, the SuperSump+, in the corner of the basement. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned their materials and left the home. Tony explained that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. He finished by saying that, when installed by a licensed professional, a radon mitigation system will lower the concentration of radon gas in the interior air to minimal levels recommended by the EPA and other health agencies. The homeowner liked Tony's plan and scheduled the work for several weeks later.

After the wall was properly supported, the crew applied multiple layers of Shotlock onto the affected wall. The crew then smoothed and finished the surface to leave a flawless wall.
