A Pipestone, MN, homeowner had been keeping an eye on his home's foundation for a few years now. A while back, she noticed stairs-steps cracking and running up the wall. Not wanting any further damage to be done, she decided to begin the search for a foundation repair company near Pipestone, MN. On the recommendation of a friend, the homeowner decided to call American Waterworks and set up her FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Eric H, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
Once Eric finished his inspection, he informed the homeowner that we could fix the failing wall with the help of our GeoLock wall anchors. He explained that this innovative system is the perfect solution for walls facing stair-step cracking. This solution works to stabilize a home's foundation by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. He finished by saying that our GeoLock anchors can be tightened over the years as the house continues to settle, giving homeowners long-lasting peace of mind in their foundation. the homeowner liked the sound of Eric's plan, and the project was scheduled for two months later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Kiko, and his team successfully placed 16 of our GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the basement. Now, our customer can enjoy her basement without worrying about the state of her foundation!

Water was leaking into the Pine River Methodist Church causing water moisture, flooding hazards, and a funky smell. They called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to the church, inspected the problems, and came up with a solution that worked for management and their budget. Management was confident in Chad's proposal and presentation, so they signed the contract, wrote out a deposit check, and got the installation project on the schedule.
Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team began the repairs by taking back the carpet, and breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent water and mud clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System around the half-wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, act as an extra wall protectant, and guide water into the WaterGuard System. Lastly, Ryan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System in the corner. Our TripleSafe is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners, it solves all three water problems in one system, and it provides three layers of protection. To complete the installation, our crew covered and filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. The customer was happy with the repairs and had a great experience with our team!

Ryan and Rachel W. of Arco, MN had a bowing foundation wall, causing them to worry about the safety and stability of their house. They did some research online and came across American Waterworks on Google. After looking through our services, Ryan and Rachel got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist inspected their foundation wall and determined the causes of why their wall was bowing inward, so he proposed our Wall Anchor Repair System. Our wall anchors stabilize foundation walls and bring them back to their original position.
Our Foreman and his production team started the installation by digging small holes beyond the foundation. From the interior foundation, our team inserted long, metal rods from the inside to the outside to where the holes were dug. Our team screwed on and tightened an anchor to the end of each rod, extending out to the compacted soil beyond their home, anchored themselves there, and braced the foundation wall. To complete the installation, our team backfilled each hole, compacted the soil, and ensured the yard was neater than when they found it.

A homeowner from Staples, MN was beginning to notice a musty odor originating from her crawl space beneath her home. Not wanting the issue to worsen, she decided to call American Waterworks and take advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the home.
After Ian completed his thorough inspection, he informed the homeowner that she was experiencing odors because of water damage in the crawl space. He told the homeowner that crawl spaces are notorious for taking on unwanted water, completely unannounced to homeowners because crawl spaces are so hard to access and maintain. He went on to say that American Waterworks could offer a solution to this issue, by installing our crawl space vapor barrier and drainage matting. Ian explained that these two products work hand in hand to catch water entering the space through cracks or porous holes in the foundation, draining it to the appropriate disposal site. The homeowner agreed and work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Kingsley, and his team ended up installing 84 ft of CleanSpace and another 84 ft of draining mating. Now that the crawl space is properly sealed, our homeowner can enjoy an odor-free home!
