Our Foreman, Jose, and his team installed ten of our PowerBraces against the bowed wall to stabilize and provide the potential to straighten it. Our PowerBraces can be tightened over time by the homeowner to ensure stability and that it is sticking to its design. Chris K. of Lake Benton, MN had a cracked foundation wall, causing him to worry about the stability of safety of his home. He heard about American Waterworks from a friend of his, so he called our company and scheduled a FREE, on-site inspection with our Design Specialist, Jared. Jared went to Chris's house, inspected his cracked foundation wall, and proposed the solution of our wall anchors. Chris got all of his questions answered about the product and felt confident in its design, so he signed the contract and got a date scheduled for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Dylon V., and his crew installed our wall anchors, which is an anchor and rod installation, including soil removal and backfill. This system is the most. versatile foundation repair system that we provide for homeowners because it can solve a variety of different problems. The foundation wall anchors extend out to the compacted soil beyond the foundation, anchoring themselves there and bracing the foundation wall, which stops inward movement and brings the foundation wall back to its normal position. Dan R. in Ivanhoe, MN had learned about the dangers of radon gas and decided that he needed to get his home tested. The test results showed a high level of radon. Our Design Specialist walked him through the radon mitigation installation process and answered his questions. Dan wanted to act quickly and moved forward with an installation date.

During the installation process, our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, drilled a hole through the floor in the basement to insert a PVC pipe and create a suction point for the radon gas. Then the gas is vented through the pipe and out of the home. Dan is relieved that he took the necessary steps to make sure his family's health is no longer compromised.

Dianne and Lois of Ivanhoe, MN had water leaking and cracked foundation walls throughout their basement. They wanted to get it repaired as soon as possible so it didn't get any worse. They got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell. Ryan went to their home, inspected their issues, and came up with a solution that fit their needs and budget. Dianne and Lois were confident in Ryan's proposal of our waterproofing and foundation repair products, so they went ahead with the installation. 

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench, and diagonally down the middle, forming a feed line. In the perimeter trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System in connection with the feed line. Our WaterGuard is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, Matt and his team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up, and act as an extra wall protectant. Then, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is provided with three layers of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. Lastly, our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors to stabilize and straighten the foundation wall. Our wall anchors are embedded in stable soil outside of the foundation wall and is connected by a long, medal rod to a wall plate that provides clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. To complete the project, our crew covered the open gaps throughout the trench and feed line with rock and applied new concrete.

Joe, from Bertha, MN, got in touch with us when he had enough of dealing with unwanted water intrusion in his basement. He wanted to know what could be done, so he called our office and we set him up with our FREE  estimate. A few weeks later one of our Design Specialists, Daniel, headed out the property to assess the situation. Once he concluded his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that his sump pump was a bit outdated, meaning it wouldn't be as affective in times of heavy rainfall. He recommended the that Joe consider getting rid of the old sump and installing our super sump system.
