A customer from Audubon, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice water entering his crawl space, creating musty odors and rotting wood. He was afraid that if left the condition untouched, it might compromise the structural integrity of the space. When he called our Appointment Center, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection of the issue. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property to do a walkthrough. Once completed, Kole was able to make recommendations about how to fix the issue. He recommended the use of our CleanSpace vapor barrier. He explained that, along with our Drainage Matting, these two would work together to trap and drain the unwanted water from the space to the appropriate disposal site. The customer agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Production crew, led by our Foreman, Arturo, ended up wrapping the crawl space in 463 sqft of CleanSpace, and installing 346 sqft of our drainage matting. They ended the job by sealing up any remaining cracks and holes with our spray foam, a hardening foam that works to block water intrusion. Once the job was done, our customer was happy to know that unwanted water intrusion was a worry of the past! 

Jeff M. of Audubon, MN, met our team at one of our Home Show events. After learning about what the American Waterworks team does, he realized that his crawlspace desperately needed our attention. Before we stepped in, Jeff's crawlspace was subjected to the elements, leading to an increase in moisture AND energy bills.

A homeowner in Audubon, MN, knew it was time to have their cracked driveway lifted and leveled. Overwhelmed by all their options, the homeowner decided to utilize HomeAdvisor to filter their search. One of the first companies listed was us, the highly-rated American Waterworks. Impressed by our ratings, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Richie. As soon as he arrived, Richie began inspecting the driveway. Richie determined that the concrete was sinking, leading to unevenness and cracks throughout the concrete. Since he knew the cause of the issues, Richie recommended that the homeowners lift and level the concrete. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and the project preparations were sent to the crew. Our crew arrived at the home and began by inserting the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the driveway and sidewalk. After the PolyLevel installation was complete, the crew shifted their focus to filling the various cracks throughout the driveway and replacing the old joints. The crew utilized the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks made to provide long-lasting flexibility.  Once the cracks and joints were filled, the crew could clean up their site and move on to the next project. A homeowner from Audubon, MN, had recently learned about the threats that Radon gas. She had run to her local home improvement store and picked up an at-home radon monitoring test. After conducting the test, she was alarmed when the test returned with results in the double digits. She knew she couldn't leave this issue unresolved, so she began to look for radon mitigation companies in Minnesota. After coming across our website, she decided to claim her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, one of our Design Specialists, Dylan J, was headed out to the home. 

Once Dylan completed his inspection, he informed the homeowner that he was recommending the installation of one of our radon mitigation systems. A typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. The homeowner liked the sound of Dylan's plan and scheduled the job on the spot. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jackson P, made quick work of the installation of the system. Now, our customer can confidently breathe the air in her home, knowing that her levels of radon have been brought down! 

Rod B. of Breckenridge, MN had cracked foundation walls in his basement, making him consider the value of his home. He did some research online and came across our FREE Estimate request form on our website. Our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, went to his home to inspect his problem and come up with a solution. After a thorough diagnosis, Rod felt comfortable with Rick's proposal, so he scheduled an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the installation by digging 6 holes in the backyard. Next, they inserted a long, metal rod from the inside of the foundation wall to each hole outside of the home. Then, our crew tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the ends of each rod to straighten and pull the foundation wall back to its normal position. Our wall anchors can be tightened over time by the homeowner to be sure they are still functioning properly. To complete the project, Juan and his team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil.
