Waterproofing and Foamax Protect Basement in Mason City, IA

Kevin S. in Mason City, IA contacted American Waterworks because he was tired of dealing with standing water in his basement after heavy rains and snow melt. Being a previous customer, he knew the crew at American Waterworks would take care of him and provide the best solution. He met with our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, who evaluated the situation and worked side-by-side with Kevin to create a unique plan for his home. 

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production crew were successfully able to waterproof Kevin’s basement by first, removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. Now, water is properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, which is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Lastly, they completed the project with installing our Fomax Wall Insulation Panels. Foamax provides comfort and energy bill savings, while making the walls look clean and bright. Kevin's peace of mind has been restored, knowing his basement will remain dry!
