Basement Waterproofing in Cottage Grove, MN

Justin V. of Cottage Grove, MN had water leaking into his basement, causing him to feel nervous about water moisture, humidity, and mold build-up. He got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Tim Schneider. Tim went to his home, examined where the water was leaking from, and came up with a solution that worked for him, his home repair needs, and his budget. Justin got all of his questions answered and felt confident in the proposal, so he signed the contract, put down a deposit, and scheduled a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent water and mud clogs, serve as an underground drain that connects to the sump pump, and collects water seepage from the basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is made to guide water into the WaterGuard, prevent any mold or mildew build-up, and act as a wall protectant barrier. To complete the work that was done, Raul and his team filled in the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete over it. Justin was happy with the work and had a great experience from the appointment to installation!
