Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Sparta, WI, heard an odd noise coming from their basement. Unsure of the source, the homeowner knew they needed to investigate. After taking a closer look, the homeowner discovered the noise was coming from the sump pump. Worried this was a sign of a larger issue, the homeowners knew they needed to find a professional to provide them with answers. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck. A few days later, Chuck arrived at the home, introduced himself to the homeowner, and began the detailed inspection of the basement. Chuck began inspecting the sump pump and confirmed it needed to be replaced. Additionally, Chuck recommended installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter and attaching exterior waterproofing products. Once he wrapped up the inspection, Chuck presented his findings and a solution to the homeowner. After hearing Chuck's proposal, the homeowner knew this was their best plan of action. Next, Chuck passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logisitcs team gave the final stamp of approval, then the project was scheduled for the following month. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Kiko and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. Finally, Kiko and his crew shifted outside and attached an IceGuard to the outside discharge line. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.  The homeowner was relieved to know their home was properly secured and safe from future water intrusion. Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard. After installing the SuperSump sump pump and laying 182 feet of the WaterGuard, they replaced the concrete and installed the Foamax wall panels. Foamax is an advanced polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel designed to prevent condensation and make the basement a more comfortable space. Water is now properly expelled from the home and the walls have been permanently stabilized. Her basement is now a stable, dry and clean space. 

Sue A. in Sparta, WI was tired of dealing with a wet basement after heavy rains and snow melt. Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his production crew were able to successfully waterproof Bryan’s basement by first removing the concrete around the inside perimeter of the basement. Next, they installed 78 feet of our WaterGuard drainage System and our SuperSump sump pump. Then, they installed two feet of our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls, filled the gaps with rock, and replaced the concrete. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard, to the SuperSump, and is quietly, and efficiently discharged from the home. Sue was thrilled with the results, and glad she chose to invest in a permanent solution for her home.  

Janice B. in Necedah, WI noticed a foul smell and rust-colored water building up in her yard and seeping into her basement, clogging the sump pump. Our production crew replaced her old sump pump and installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe is backed by three layers of protection and can easily take on the challenge of iron ochre.
