After taking a closer look, the homeowner discovered the noise was coming from the sump pump. Worried this was a sign of a larger issue, the homeowners knew they needed to find a professional to provide them with answers. The homeowner looked into the "home sump pump repair near me" and at the top of the list was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our elite sump pump lineup, the homeowner knew we were the perfect choice for their home. Next, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck. A few days later, Chuck arrived at the home, introduced himself to the homeowner, and began the detailed inspection of the basement. Chuck began inspecting the sump pump and confirmed it needed to be replaced. Additionally, Chuck recommended installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter and attaching exterior waterproofing products. Once he wrapped up the inspection, Chuck presented his findings and a solution to the homeowner. After hearing Chuck's proposal, the homeowner knew this was their best plan of action. Next, Chuck passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logisitcs team gave the final stamp of approval, then the project was scheduled for the following month. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Kiko and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. Finally, Kiko and his crew shifted outside and attached an IceGuard to the outside discharge line. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.  The homeowner was relieved to know their home was properly secured and safe from future water intrusion. American Waterworks is happy to give their homeowners peace of mind.

Leaky Basement Transformed in Sparta, WI

Heather C. in Sparta, WI had water leaking into her basement through her foundation wall causing damage to her home. She contacted American Waterworks, and one of our waterproofing experts, Rick Weber, designed a thorough solution. Heather was impressed with the solution, so she chose to move forward with the installation.

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard. After installing the SuperSump sump pump and laying 182 feet of the WaterGuard, they replaced the concrete and installed the Foamax wall panels. Foamax is an advanced polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel designed to prevent condensation and make the basement a more comfortable space. Water is now properly expelled from the home and the walls have been permanently stabilized. Her basement is now a stable, dry and clean space.

TripleSafe Replaces Iron Ochre Clogged Sump Pump in Necedah, WI

Janice B. in Necedah, WI noticed a foul smell and rust-colored water building up in her yard and seeping into her basement, clogging the sump pump. She contacted American Waterworks, and we sent our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, to her home to evaluate her situation. He discovered that Janice had a buildup of iron ochre in her old sump pump and outside her home. He explained that it is not a known health hazard but can quickly clog a French drain system and cause damage to pipes and plumbing systems. He presented her with our WaterGuard IOS Perimeter Drain Channel, which is ideal for managing this problem. Janice was impressed with Rick’s presentation and our products and moved forward with an installation date.

Our production crew replaced her old sump pump and installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe is backed by three layers of protection and can easily take on the challenge of iron ochre. Our sump pumps are able to pump out ½" solids without clogging. Janice was impressed with the installation and is happy knowing her sump pump is free of iron ochre infiltration.
