A homeowner in Starbuck, MN, knew it was time to repair their sinking patio. Hoping to avoid replacement, the homeowner began looking into "concrete leveling services near me". Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Greg. Greg promptly arrived at the home to begin the thorough inspection. During the inspection, Greg confirmed the back patio was sinking due to settlement. To prevent this issue from worsening, Greg recommended lifting and leveling the sidewalk back to its original state. The homeowner agreed and worked with Greg to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew traveled to the home and began by installing PolyLevel below the sinking slabs. After the PolyLevel was secured, the crew shifted to filling and replacing the joints and cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Once all the products were secured, Charlie and his crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customers' damaged concrete.

Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain around the entire floor perimeter, which is an interior drainage system that collects water leakage from basement walls and prevents mud clogs. Next, our team installed our Foamax Wall Panels around the wall perimeter, which is a foam insulation that prevents mold and moisture, saves money on energy costs, and brightens the basement. A Sleepy Eye, MN, homeowner was struggling with a damp basement after heavy rainfall. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he decided to begin the search for a basement waterproofing company in Minnesota. Once he found our website, he decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan W, headed out to the home. 

After Dylan arrived, he got right to work assessing the basement and trying to find the source of the leaking. Once Dylan completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Dylan explained that the water was entering the home through cracks in the floor, and therefore, he wanted to address the situation with several of our products: WaterGuard, TripleSafe Sump Pump, and our AprilAire dehumidifier. Dylan elaborated, explaining that these products would work closely together to keep the basement dry. Any water entering the basement through the floor would immediately be caught by the WaterGuard, an award-winning below-floor drain that lays on top of the footing of the foundation to catch unwanted water, directing it to the appropriate disposal site, which would be the TripleSafe. Our TripleSafe is our most reliable sump pump, boasting three levels of protection for your basement. The TripleSafe has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over. Finally, Dylan said that even basements with effective waterproofing solutions can develop moisture problems. For this reason, he recommended the use of our AprilAire E100 dehumidifier. This powerful machine creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. Mike, a homeowner in Rothsay, MN, needed support for his home's basement space. The wall in the basement was failing and he could see daylight through the cracking mortar. To top it off, his back steps were consequently uneven due to the foundation issues. Once the entire inspection was complete and Richie had all the information he needed, he explained to Mike how we could help. Mike was excited to begin and see how we would transform the space.

Foreman Domenic and his crew arrived at the property soon after to get started. First, they ensured the area was cleared and prepped for work. Mike had decided to invest in our PolyLevel solution for his back steps; the product is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected underneath concrete to fill the voids underneath the slab that were caused by soil erosion. Next, the team began installing our SmartJack system. Our SmartJack system is made to provide support for oversized or sagging beams, restoring stability and straightness. The team added one of our SmartJacks along the support beam of the home. Before installing the SmartJack, the production team dug a hole two feet deep. Then they backfilled the hole with engineer fill which is designed to dissipate the amount of force the SmartJack is experiencing. Finally, the team used seven of our GeoLock Wall Anchors along the north, east, and west walls to correct the issue and prevent it from worsening. This innovative system permanently stabilizes foundation walls by anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. The anchors can also be tightened over time. Mike was happy with the results of the project and grateful he no longer has to worry about the state of his home.
