Asim K. in Rochester, MN had water seeping through the walls into his basement which was starting to cause damage to his property and creating a musty smell. He started to do some research and learned that American Waterworks is the leading contractor in basement waterproofing in the region and gave us a call. We sent our Design Specialist to his home to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution to fit his needs. He approved of the plan and moved forward with the installation date.
Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and the production crew started the installation by removing the concrete and laying 120 feet of the WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed the SuperSump sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Asim is glad he made the investment to protect his home.

Ellen T. in Rochester, MN was suffering from a wet basement. She had an older home, and the foundation leaked every time it rained. She contacted American Waterworks, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to meet with her and develop a plan that would fit her needs. Ellen approved of the products and the waterproofing design, and she moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement to make a trench for the 160 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner, and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls. Lastly, they filled back the gaps with rock, replaced the concrete, and cleaned up their work area. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the TripleSafe, and from there, it is expelled from the home. Nathan U. in Rochester, MN had our waterproofing system installed in his home. During one of his annual maintenance appointments our Senior Service Technician, Ben McKee, noticed his garage floor was uneven, and he feared the problem was only going to get worse. After a thorough inspection, he was able to recommend our Foundation Push Pier System to provide a permanent solution to the settlement issue. Nathan was impressed with Ben’s evaluation and the products presented, and he moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew started the installation by digging out the soil surrounding the home where the foundation was settling. Then, they installed heavy-duty steel brackets below the footing of the foundation. Next, rugged, interlocking steel pier sections are hydraulically driven through the bracket until bedrock or stable soil is reached. The weight of the home is then transferred through the piers to load-bearing soil. Lastly, the crew installed our SentrySeal membrane to seal off any cracks and prevent water from entering the basement. They replaced the soil and cleaned up their work area. Nathan is glad he chose to invest in the stability of his home, and we are glad we could restore his peace of mind!
Dan M. of Rochester, MN had an uneven and cracked driveway, making him want to get it repaired. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to his house, inspected his concrete, and proposed the solution of our PolyLevel and NexusPro. Dan was confident in both products, so he followed through with the project and got a date scheduled for the installation.
Our Foreman and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete, which is made to lift and stabilize the concrete so the surface is level. Next, our team applied NexusPro over the cracks, which prevents moisture from seeping underneath the concrete and gives it a fresh, new appearance. To complete the project, our Foreman did a final walkthrough with Dan to ensure he was satisfied with the work that was done!
