Sandra N. in Albert Lea, MN had her home tested for radon. When the results came back with high levels, she gave American Waterworks a call. Our Design Specialist, Reed Hudson, developed a plan that was unique to her home. 

Our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, started the installation process by drilling a hole in the slab foundation of the home and connected a PVC pipe. The radon gas is drawn upward, and the pipe guides it to the fan. The fan draws and vents radon safely above and away from the home. Sandra is glad she took the necessary steps to protect herself and her family.

Lori K. in Albert Lea, MN had an older home, and she was concerned about the stability of the foundation and the water leaking into her basement. She found American Waterworks in the phone book and gave us a call. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to meet with Lori, evaluate the situation, and propose the best solution. Lori was impressed with Ryan’s presentation, and she moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production team were successfully able to stabilize Lori’s foundation with the installation of 10 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors around the deteriorating foundation. They began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing 100 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed the SuperSump sump pump with a battery backup and the CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to further protect the space from mold and moisture. Lastly, they installed the SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of any humidity and cleaned up their work area. Lori was pleased with the entire process and is glad she made the investment to protect her home! 

Amanda S. of Albert Lea, MN had a deteriorating foundation wall in her basement, making her feel scared and nervous to live in her own home. This spray-on solution is twice as strong as standard concrete, it is a fully warrantied repair, and it's much less costly than foundation replacement. Amanda was thrilled with the work and had a remarkable experience with Ryan and Matt!

Marcy B.'s garage walls were bowing and cracking, causing her to worry about the structural build and support of her home. One of her friends had work done by American Waterworks was happy with our services, so Marcy got a hold of our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production team installed 28 of our Carbon Fiber Strips around the entire garage wall perimeter. Our CarbonArmor Strips are 10 times stronger than steel and were once used for bomb shelters, bridges, and tall buildings. Marcy was happy with the project and her peace of mind was restored knowing that she no longer has to worry!

Our Foreman and his crew member injected 229 pounds of our PolyLevel, which is designed to stabilize the surface and fill all the voids underneath the concrete. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the garage cracks. This part of the process ensures that moisture stays away from the soil underneath the slab, and it gives the concrete a clean appearance.
