Diane S. of Waukon, IA had a sunken and cracked concrete sidewalk. She did her research and came across American Waterworks. She worked with our Design Specialist, Marcus, who drew out a detailed design for her project. Diane was confident in Marcus's proposal, so she moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Sam, and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to lift and stabilize the concrete surface. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks to seal and repair them, as well as to prevent moisture from seeping underneath.
Diane was thrilled with the work and could not believe the transformation!

A homeowner in Waukon, IA, discovered large pools of water throughout their basement. Worried by this finding, the homeowner frantically searched for a company to solve this issue. After hearing about our fast service, the homeowner called our Appointment Center to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner waited for the arrival of Rick, one of our Design Specialists. After Rick arrived, he went to the basement and started inspecting the level of damage. During his inspection, Rick discovered water was rapidly leaking into the basement. Rick knew this issue needed to be addressed immediately, so he suggested installing a new drain system around the basement perimeter. The homeowner wanted the issue resolved, so they agreed with Rick's recommendations. When they received the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Jeromy, and his crew. The crew arrived at the home and started by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew dug a feed line across the floor to tie into the new sump pump, the SuperSump+. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work done by the crew. American Waterworks is glad to assist another homeowner.
A homeowner in Waukon, IA, got in touch with us when she had enough of a piece of sinking concrete just before her front stoop. Not wanting to have to worry about it any longer, the homeowner decided to call American Waterworks to advantage of our FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Michel R, headed out to the home.
After Michel finished his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that we could fix the sinking piece of concrete by using our PolyLevel lifting solution. PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam, expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the slab back into place. Michel finished by saying that all of our concrete installs are finished by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete, after a lift, to protect the soil below, in hopes of preventing further sinking. The homeowner agreed and work began a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Ryan T, and his team made quick work of the lift. When the job was complete, our customer was thrilled to know she no longer had to worry about trip hazards!
