A homeowner in Mason City, IA, discovered large horizontal cracks on their foundation walls. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner decided they wanted a professional to take a look. Overwhelmed by all their options, the homeowner asked their neighbors if they had any recommendations. The neighbor recommended working with us, American Waterworks. After the neighbor gave them our number, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Eric, was sent to complete the estimate in the home. Eric arrived at the home to begin the basement analysis. After he inspected the basement, Eric discovered that the cracks were caused by hydrostatic pressure. To stop the walls from bowing in further, Eric suggested the walls be permanently stabilized with GeoLocks, our innovative wall anchoring system. After thinking about their options, the homeowner agreed with Eric's suggestions. The plans were assigned to our Formean, Crescencio, and his crew. When the crew arrived, they began by mapping out where the 10 GeoLocks would be secured. Then, they began installing four GeoLocks on the west and six GeoLocks on the north foundation wall. Once the GeoLocks were properly secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was at ease knowing their foundation was saved from possible failure. American Waterworks is happy to give another homeowner peace of mind.

A homeowner from Mason City, IA, was growing tired of having to step on the gas when entering her driveway to combat uneven slabs that had been slowing her down. Not wanting to let the issue worsen, she decided to get some advice from friends and family, all of whom recommended American Waterworks for the fix. She decided to call us, claim her FREE estimate, and have one of our Design Specialists check out her problem. A few weeks later a member of our Design Specialist team, Romeo, headed out to the home.
After completing his inspection, Romeo informed the homeowner that we could rectify the situation with the use of our PolyLevel lifting solution. Our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected below concrete slabs, pushing concrete upward and back into its original position. Romeo finished by saying that our team would finish the installation with our NexusPro, a silicone-based joint and crack sealant that prevents the elements from getting under the concrete, possibly compromising the lift. the homeowner agreed and work began a few weeks later.
Once the project had been completed, our customer was thrilled to know she could now drive on her driveway with ease of mind!
A couple from Mason City, IA was beginning to notice that their front patio/walkway was showing signs of sinking and slowly becoming uneven. Not wanting the issue to get worse, they decided to get in touch with a company that could help them fix the situation. After researching on their own, they came across our website and decided to set up their FREE estimate, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Nate B, headed out to the home.
Once Nate completed his inspection, he met with the owners and informed them that they were right to get in touch with us. He explained that what they were experiencing was a fairly common problem that we could fix using a non-invasive, yet effective method; PolyLevel. Our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected below concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and raises and stabilizes the sinking concrete surface. When the lift has been completed, our team installs our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant, along the cracks and joints of the concrete, preventing any elements from getting under the slab, and potentially compromising the lift. The homeowner agreed and work began a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam, and his crew made quick work of the installation. When the project had been completed, our customers were thrilled with the new look of their front patio!
