American Waterworks Before & After Photos

An Eagan, MN, homeowner was growing more concerned about her basement bedroom. Each time it rained, the carpet of the room took on water, becoming overly saturated. The homeowner contacted a handyman, who referred him to us. He decided to set up his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Darin S, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home. 

Darin completed his thorough inspection of the basement. When he finished, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. First, Darin recommended our WaterGuard. This unique French drain gets installed below the slab of the concrete floor and atop the footing of the foundation. It works to collect water entering through holes or cracks in the floor, giving the water a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. One thing Darin had noticed was that the basement lacked a means of disposing of unwanted water. For this reason, Darin recommended our SuperSump sump pump. This pump keeps your basement dry using a float-operated and fully submersible pump. The homeowner agreed with Darin's recommendations and scheduled the job on the spot. 

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Diego B, led his team through the flawless installation of 34ft of WaterGuard, and 1 SuperSump sump pump. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing that her water intrusion issues have been handled! 

Allison H. in Saint Paul, MN had water leaking into her basement through a crack in the foundation. She requested an estimate from American Waterworks through HomeAdvisor, and we sent our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, to her home to provide a FREE estimate. Jeremy recommended that Allison have our waterproofing system installed to keep her basement dry and comfortable. 

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our SuperSump sump pump in the corner and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to further protect the space from moisture and mold. Lastly, the crew filled back the gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Allison’s peace of mind has been restored, and she is happy she can enjoy a dry, healthy basement!

One of our PolyLevel experts, Trevor Ellingson, began the project by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the concrete and injected the polymer foam until the concrete was raised and level. Then, he sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant which protects the concrete and gives it a beautiful, finished look. A homeowner in St. Paul, MN, noticed their cinder block foundation was beginning to struggle. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner decided that they needed a professional to inspect the status of their basement. Overwhelmed by all their options, the homeowner tried to sift their options using NextDoor. One of the first companies to show up was ours, American Waterworks. The homeowner was impressed with our reviews and decided to take a closer look at our website. Knowing our services best fit their needs, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Daniel, one of our Design Specialists. Daniel arrived at the home and began his inspection of the foundation. After completing the estimation, Daniel found that the home was suffering from hydrostatic pressure. To stop the foundation from being affected further, Daniel recommended that PowerBraces be installed on the affected walls. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and production began. Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew arrived at the home to start production. First, the crew prepared for the PowerBrace installation. The crew installed six PowerBraces along the north wall in the basement. Once the PowerBraces were installed, they left behind a straightening kit. This will allow the walls to straighten over time. The crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their walls were permanently stabilized. American Waterworks is happy to help out another customer. 

A homeowner from Saint Paul, MN, was in the process of upgrading his outdoor patio. One obstacle in the way of the revamp was the patio itself. The concrete patio had been slowly sinking for a few years now, and the homeowner was ready to update the space, meaning the concrete would need work. During his search for a company that could help, he found the American Waterworks website. He decided to take advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to the home. 

After our Design Specialist finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give him our recommendations. Our Design Specialist explained that we could lift the sunken patio using our PolyLevel method. Our PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He went on to say that we finished our concrete lifts by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro works to keep unwanted debris and moisture away from the slab. The homeowner agreed with the recommendations and the work was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam K, and his team made quick work of the lift. Now our customer can enjoy their outdoor oasis without worrying about sunken concrete!
