Eric explained that GeoLock anchors counteract the pressure being put on the wall by anchoring the failing wall to the undisturbed soil beyond the foundation. In Avon, MN, a homeowner had cracked concrete around the front porch of his house, causing him to worry about the value and appearance of his home. He did some research on HomeAdvisor and came across American Waterworks. In less than a week, our Design Specialist went to his home, inspected his concrete, and took note of the areas that need concrete lifting. After reporting his findings to the homeowner,  our Design Specialist began working on a customized solution to repair the concrete slabs. PolyLevel, our foam expanding solution that is designed to lift sunken slabs, was recommended to lift the slabs back to their original position. Along with PolyLevel and NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant was recommended to repair the cracks and seal the joints. Confident in our team, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, one of our crews arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by injecting PolyLevel beneath the sunken slabs. Once each slab was lifted and leveled, they applied NexusPro to repair the cracks.

Joshua H. of Avon, MN had water leaking into his old farmhouse and he was looking for options of putting in drain tile. He got in touch with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to Joshua's house, carefully inspected her problems, and proposed a system that would work for him and his needs. Our Foreman and his crew began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter and installing our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is an interior drainage system that collects water seepage from basement walls, and has an easily accessible service ports when it comes time for annual maintenance. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace tape around the bottom of the wall perimeter on top of the WaterGuard, which is made to prevent water from seeping through the bottom of the wall. Lastly, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53, which is a sump pump made to keep basements dry for long periods of time. To complete the project, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them.
