A homeowner from Mendota, MN contacted us because she was concerned about potentially having high radon levels. We scheduled an onsite inspection with one of our Design Specialists, Dustin Loftus, who tested her home and designed the plan for a mitigation system if one was needed. 

Her results came back at 6.8 pCi/L and the recommended action level is 4 pCi/l. She decided to move forward with the mitigation system to protect her and her loved one's health. Our Foreman, Dakota installed the system a couple of weeks later, and her post-install test results came back at 0.5 pCi/l. She was so relieved to be breathing healthy air again and was grateful we could help her so quickly! 

A Burrnsville, MN homeowner was concerned about the effects his damp crawl space had on his home and his health, so he contacted the experts at American Waterworks for free consultation and on-site estimate. Jeremy noticed some mold that had built up over time due to excessive moisture that is commonly found in improperly ventilated areas of the home.  

After the mold remediation was complete, We installed a waterproof polystyrene insulation known as SilverGlo to hold back moisture from the crawl space walls.  Any excess moisture build up will then drain underneath a CleanSpace drainage matting system that directs the water flooding into his crawl space to the new SuperSump sump pump system and then removed from the home.  

Kent J. of Burnsville, MN had a bowing foundation wall, making him worry about the stability of his home. He knew of American Waterworks, so he called our office line and scheduled a FREE estimate with one of our Design Specialists. Our Design Specialist went to Kent's home and inspected the wall to figure out the best solution. Our Design Specialist proposed our Wall Anchor System, which is a system that stabilizes foundation walls by anchoring the wall to the compact soil beyond the foundation. Kent was confident in the product and its warranty, so he went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman and his production team began the project by digging holes outside of the home beyond the foundation. From the interior foundation, our team installed a long, metal rod through the wall to each hole outside of the home. Each anchor is connected by the rod to a wall plate, which provides the pressure needed to straighten the foundation wall. Over time, homeowners can tighten their anchors with a torque wrench to ensure the system is sticking to its design. To complete the installation, our crew backfilled each hole outside of the home and ensured the yard was neater than they found it. Kent was happy with the work that was performed and had a great experience from appointment to installation!

Brett from Burnsville, MN found out his foundation was in jeopardy when he noticed cracks that were being created by the bowing of the foundation wall. Brett started to worry about the structure of his home and was looking for a cost-effective solution. Our Design Specialist proposed to Brett that the best solution to prevent any further bowing of the wall is our CarbonArmor solution. The CarbonArmor is a carbon fiber strap that goes alongside the wall and stabilizes the foundation and is attached to the wall with a special epoxy. The CarbonArmor strengthens due to the pressure that is applied to it. Brett agrees with the proposition and proceeds with the project. Once the installation date was scheduled, our foreman Chris Newton proceeded to install four CarbonArmor straps alongside the issue wall. Brett was impressed with the quick installation and the cost of the proceeding, and his peace of mind was restored knowing that he did not have to worry about the foundation of his home!!

A homeowner in Burnsville, MN, noticed their driveway was uneven and had large cracks spread throughout. Once the concrete was properly leveled and lifted,  the crew could fill all the cracks spread throughout the garage floor. To fill the cracks, the crew utilized the NexusPro Sealant. The NexusPro Sealant is not affected by extreme temperatures, is long-lasting, and can be installed all year round. After all the cracks were repaired, the crew cleaned up their job site and left the home. The homeowners were thankful for all of the repairs completed by the crew.
