A homeowner in Forest Lake, MN, knew it was time to have their many sidewalk cracks filled and repaired. Wanting to avoid replacing the entire sidewalk, the homeowners wanted to look for concrete repair options. The homeowner took to social media and asked their friends' advice on the route they should take. After getting an overwhelming response, the homeowner decided to check out our Facebook page. The homeowners were extremely impressed with our previous jobs, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the details were settled, the homeowners prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists. After they arrived, the Design Specialist began inspecting the sidewalk to find the source of the issue. Once the detailed inspection was completed, the Design Specialist determined that the sidewalk was sinking and weakening. To combat these issues, the Design Specialist suggested that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled. The homeowners agreed with the Design Specialist's suggestions and production preparations commenced. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew were assigned to complete the task, so they traveled to the home. As soon as they arrived, the crew began unloading all their products and prepping the concrete for the PolyLevel installation. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that lifts and levels sinking concrete. After the concrete was lifted and leveled, the crew turned their attention to filling the several cracks throughout the sidewalk. To fill these cracks, the crew utilized the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant used to fill cracks and joints. Soon after the cracks and joints were filled, the crew was able to clean up their job site and leave the home. The homeowners were impressed with the crew's excellent and efficient work. American Waterworks is glad to assist another customer.
Anthony W. in Le Center, MN had multiple cracked walls in his basement. He was worried that these cracks would cause the walls to bow, which would put pressure on his foundation. He wanted to repair his walls before his problem got worse, so he contacted American Waterworks to learn more about our foundation repair solutions. We sent a Design Specialist to his home to provide him with a solution and a FREE estimate. Anthony was impressed with our products and our team, so he scheduled the installation.
Our Design Specialist recommended having wall anchors installed along the cracked walls to permanently stabilize the foundation. Our production crew started the installation by drilling 13 long, metal rods through the brick wall into the soil surrounding the home. They secured both ends of the rod with anchor plates and tightened them. These anchors can continue to be tightened over time to gradually straighten the wall. Anthony's walls became permanently secured with the installation of these wall anchors. He is glad he made the investment to protect his foundation for the long-term.

Brain B. of Le Center, MN had water seeping into his basement and his foundation wall was cracking. Both problems were causing him to worry about the safety and value of his home. While searching for local contractors on Google, he came across American Waterworks. He called our office line and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared. Jared went to Brain's home, took a look at the water leaks and his foundation, and wrote out a plan of our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, and our Wall Anchor System. Brian was confident in our products and their features, so he set up a date for the installation.
Our Foreman, Raul, and his team started the installation by installing our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is made to prevent mud clogs and catch water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter, which is designed to prevent mold and humidity, save money on energy bills, and it gives the basement a clean appearance. Lastly, our team installed our Wall Anchors over the CleanSpace to straighten the walls and pull them back to their natural position. Pell J. in Madison Lake, MN had water leaking into his basement. He was concerned about the air quality in their home and the damage that the water was causing. He saw an advertisement in his local newspaper for American Waterworks, so he decided to call us for a free estimate. One of our Design Specialists went to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. We recommended that he have our full waterproofing system installed in his basement to ensure that his basement would be permanently waterproofed. Pell liked the proposal that we presented to him, so he scheduled the installation.
Our production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they laid the WaterGuard drainage system and installed the sump pump. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. The installation took our crew one full day, and Pell will now be able to enjoy a dry basement for many years to come. He is glad he chose to invest in the protection of his home.
