A homeowner in Chanhassen, MN, was unhappy with the look of their back patio. Wanting to avoid replacement, the homeowner looked into professional repair options nearby. While looking through many companies, the homeowner came across our lifting and leveling services. Impressed by our previous work, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After their estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Kyle, one of our Design Specialists. Once Kyle arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and they showed him where the patio was sinking. Kyle saw that the patio was falling due to the soil not being properly packed underneath the patio. Once he found the cause, Kyle recommended lifting and leveling the concrete to fill the voids. In addition to the lift, Kyle suggested filling the joints and cracks. The homeowners agreed and the production plans were sent to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew. When they arrived, the crew began by inserting the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the patio. Once the PolyLevel was installed, the crew filled the cracks and joints with the NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Once the joints and cracks were repaired, the crew cleaned their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the wonderful work completed by the crew. A homeowner from Chanhassen, MN, was in the process of renovating her basement when she tore out a piece of drywall to find large cracks running lengthwise on her block foundation wall. The homeowner was instantly worried about what her discovery could mean for the safety of her home. Not wanting to delay repairing the wall, she decided to find a basement foundation company to repair the damages. Through the recommendations of a friend, the homeowner quickly found American Waterworks and signed up for her FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Eric H, was headed out to the home. When Eric arrived, he began his estimate, paying close attention to the basement, outside obstructions, and more. Upon completion of his estimate, Eric met back up with the homeowner to deliver his findings. First, Eric began by informing the homeowner that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from the top, not from the side. So when the pressure on the side of the wall becomes more than what the wall can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, tilting inward, or sliding in at the bottom of the wall. Eric went on to say that he was recommending our PowerBrace foundation repair system, explaining that this system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten the wall over time. Over time, PowerBraces can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straight and more vertical. The homeowner was relieved that Eric had provided her with a solution and decided to set a date for the project.
More than a month later, our Foreman, Jose C, and his crew were out at the home to install the system. After a grueling day, our team successfully placed 4 PowerBraces on the problem foundation walls, restoring our customer's faith in her home!

Matt C. in Amboy, MN had cracked and bowing walls in his basement. He was concerned about the amount of stress it was putting on his foundation and did not want to let the damage get any worse, so he contacted us to receive a FREE estimate. We were happy to send one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to his home to inspect the foundation problem and provide him with a solution. Jeremy assured him that we could repair his foundation walls by installing wall anchors. Matt liked Jeremy’s proposal and felt like we were a good fit for him, so he scheduled the installation.
Our production team drilled rods through the brick wall to the soil outside of the home. They secured the rods with anchor plates on each end. Once the plates were tightened, Matt was able to visibly see a difference in the stability of the walls. The anchors will continue to straighten the walls over time as well. Our wall anchor system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Matt can rest easy knowing he chose to invest in the long-term protection of his foundation.
