A homeowner in Lakeville, MN, knew it was time to repair their sinking and uneven walkway. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner looked into "concrete lifting near me." One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Justin. A few days later, Justin arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During the inspection, Justin confirmed that several areas were suffering from settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Justin recommended lifting and leveling the sidewalk back into place. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Justin to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, we sent our Foreman, Sam, to the home to begin. First, Sam and his crew started by lifting the sidewalk with PolyLevel, a polyurthane foam injection solution. Next, Sam and his crew inserted NexusPro, a silicone-based solution, in the cracks and joints of the sidewalk. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind.

In less than a week, our Design Specialist arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, he took a close look at the concrete slabs and identified which needed lifting. After reporting his findings to the homeowner, our Design Specialist explained that the reason they were experiencing sunken slabs was because of soil washout. Soil washout is the process in which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. Over time, this causes gaps in the soil, and the slabs would begin to sink. To lift the slabs back to their original position, our Design Specialist recommended installing PolyLevel, our poly foam expanding solution, and sealing the joints with NexusPro, our silicone sealant. Confident in our team, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.

Nicholas H. in Savage, MN had water leaking into his basement during heavy rains and when snow melts. The water was starting to pool in the laundry room and their old sump pump had failed. He saw an advertisement for American Waterworks in one of the local newspapers and he was glad to see that we are experts in waterproofing. He gave us a call and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to his home to give him a FREE estimate. Chad established that the best solution was to install a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump.
Nicholas was eager to get his basement waterproofed, so he set an appointment to have the system installed as soon as possible. Our production crew installed the WaterGuard drainage system around the entire perimeter of the basement, which guides any water seeping in directly to the newly installed sump pump. The sump pump then discharges the water outside of the home. Our waterproofing system is backed with a lifetime warranty, so it is guaranteed to keep his basement dry. Nicholas is glad he invested in a long-term solution to protect his home.
