Brian O. in La Crescent, MN contacted American Waterworks after being referred to us by a previous satisfied customer. He was interested in our foundation repair and waterproofing products, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, to meet with him and present our services. Brian was impressed with Rick’s evaluation and proposal, and he moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew were able to successfully stabilize Brian’s basement walls by installing 32 of our CarbonArmor strips along the perimeter of the foundation. The CarbonArmour system utilizes epoxy and carbon fiber strips to strengthen the foundation walls. Next, the crew began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor to install the 140 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system and feed line. Then, the crew filled back the gaps with rock, replaced the concrete, and cleaned up their work area. Brian is happy with the results and confident that he chose the best solution for his home!
Mary M. of La Crescent, MN had water leaking through the floor of her basement at the end of her staircase, making her worry about the safety of her home. One of her friends referred to American Waterworks, so she called our office and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Mac Cole. Mac went to her home to inspect her basement and come up with a solution. Mary was confident in Mac's proposal, so she went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Tremaine Jackson and his production team broke out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain that leads to the outside of the home, prevents water clogs, and collects water seepage from basement walls. To complete the project, our crew covered the gaps under the WaterGuard with rock and applied new concrete. Mary said she had a wonderful experience and was grateful we were able to help her and her home repair needs!
A homeowner in La Crescent, MN, discovered water damage around their basement. Worried there was further damage, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. The homeowner went to a local Facebook group and asked for any recommendations. Several of them recommended working with us, American Waterworks, so they called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Dustin, one of our Design Specialists. Dustin arrived at the home and started his thorough inspection of the basement. Following his inspection, Dustin determined the basement needed to be fully waterproofed and the sump pump replaced. Dustin proposed his recommendations to the homeowner and they agreed. After receiving approval from the homeowner, they passed the plans to the office for finalization. Once finalized, they were sent to our Field Supervisor, Rene, and his crew to begin the project. Rene and his crew arrived at the home and began the installation. First, the crew installed WaterGuard in the western corner of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. After the SuperSump+ was secured, the crew cleaned up the materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners peace of mind.
