Brittany, from Courtenay, ND, had experienced water in her basement too many times to count. It was getting frustrating, and she wanted a permanent solution to restore her peace of mind and make her space livable again. She contacted us for a FREE estimate to understand our possible solutions. Our Design Specialist, Ian, traveled to her home to take a look around. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was ready to make his recommendation for a plan to transform Brittany's basement into a healthy, clean space. 

Our Foreman, Tanner, and his crew started the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, and our SuperSump Plus pump. Water now drains through the WaterGuard into the sump pump. The team also implemented our LawnScape Outlet, which is a pipe buried from the downspout that lets water outside onto the surface of the lawn while camouflaging the end of the pipe. This helps get water away from the exterior of the home. Lastly, the crew finished the project by filling the gaps with rock, replacing the concrete, and cleaning up their work area. A homeowner in Courtenay, ND, was relaxing in their basement when they noticed wet spots throughout their floors. Concerned about the severity of the leak, the homeowner immediately reached out to American Waterworks to have them conduct an inspection. Design Specialist, Dylan, completed the inspection and returned with a possible solution. Dylan recommended the WaterGuards be placed around the perimeter of the basement. The homeowners consented and the project began. To properly install the WaterGuard, the crew began by demolishing the fireplace. Then, the crew dug out and installed the WaterGuard. Following the WaterGuard installation, Foamax was installed on the basement walls. The crew completed the construction successfully. The homeowners were happy that their basements was waterproofed before the damage could grow.  

A concerned customer called us when they began to notice water in the crawl space beneath their property. Our Design Specialist, Kevin, had a few recommendations to help keep the area dry. Along with sealing off the sump basket, he recommended that the customer invests in a suction point in the crawl space. Furthermore, he recommended that the entire crawl space be lined with our CleanSpace encapsulation, ensuring that the area would stay dry. The Foreman for the project, Dakota, completed the list of installations, and we have some happy homeowners!
