A homeowner in Holcombe, WI, disliked the appearance of their driveway. Knowing this project was bigger, the homeowner searched for a concrete repair company to assist them. After searching "concrete repair near me", one of the first companies to show up was us, American Waterworks. After seeing our five-star reviews, the homeowner took a closer look at our concrete services and was impressed. Quickly after, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After the FREE estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Chuck, one of our Design Specialists. Chuck greeted the homeowner and began his inspection of the driveway. Following his detailed inspection, Chuck determined that the driveway was sinking into the ground. To save the sidewalk from sinking further, Chuck recommended lifting and leveling the sidewalk. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and production began. Our Foreman, Troy, and his crew arrived at the home and began by inserting the PolyLevel underneath the driveway. After the PolyLevel was fully installed, the crew shifted their focus to filling the joints using the NexusPro Joint Sealant. Once the driveway was raised and fully repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their driveway was properly repaired. American Waterworks is happy to assist in lifting and repairing our customer's driveways.
Bill and Linda W. in Nelson, WI contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our advertisements in the newspaper. Their driveway and walkway along their house had settled, creating a trip hazard. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Michel Ramirez, to meet with Bill and Linda, evaluate the situation, and propose a unique solution. After his inspection, Michel was able to recommend our PolyLevel and NexusPro products. Bill was glad to learn that our PolyLevel concrete repair solution is a durable, faster and more affordable option than traditional concrete repair. They approved of the plan and moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Brandon Wiskow, lifted several of the walkway and driveway sections through use of PolyLevel - a two-part, high-density polyurethane foam. Pencil-sized holes were drilled through the concrete, and foam was injected to lift the sinking slabs back to their original height. Then, he caulked and sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete and give it a nice, finished look. Trip hazards were effectively removed, and the process avoided the unnecessary action of replacing the concrete. Bill and Linda were impressed with the installation, and thrilled that they can enjoy a level walkway for years to come!
Faith Lutheran Church of Wabasha in Minnesota had a sunken and uneven sidewalk. They decided this was the best option and felt that our company was a good fit for them, so they set a date for the installation.
Our PolyLevel experts, Brandon Wiskow and Jared Wroblewski, drilled penny-sized holes into the concrete slabs where the concrete needed to be raised. They injected the PolyLevel foam into the holes in the concrete until the slabs were raised and level. Lastly, they filled the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. The process only took a couple hours, and now the Church will be able to enjoy level concrete for years to come!

A homeowner in Wabasha, MN, noticed a funky smell around their home. Unsure of the cause of the smell, the homeowner began to do some investigating. Upon further investigation, the homeowner discovered the scent was strongest in the basement. Having a hunch this may lead to a bigger issue, the homeowner wanted to have a basement expert inspect their home. Knowing there were many options around them, the homeowner decided to research the 'best basement repair near Wabasha, MN'. The company at the top of the list was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner decided to look closer into our website and was immediately impressed. After seeing we offer FREE estimates, they decided to give us a try. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Mike, to inspect the basement further. Mike performed the estimate and discovered the scent was coming from the crawl space. Additionally, Mike alerted the homeowner that their home had high radon levels. Mike recommended encapsulating the crawl space and a radon mitigation system be placed. The homeowners agreed with Mike's recommendations, and the plans were passed on to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Jesus, and his crew arrived at the home to begin production. First, the crew cleaned the debris out of the crawl space. Once the crawl space was cleared, the crew could install the CleanSpace and Drainage Matting. Then, the crew shifted their focus to installing the Radon Mitigation System outside the home. Once the Radon Mitigation System was properly installed, the crew was able to clean up their job site and leave the home. The homeowners were relieved to know the musty smell was gone and the radon threat was eliminated. American Waterworks is happy to make another home safe.
A homeowner in Wabasha, MN, was doing some landscaping in her yard when he noticed a crack running up her foundation. She was concerned because he didn't know if the crack continued below the foundation. He spoke with neighbors about the problem and was directed to American Waterworks. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Michel, headed out to the home to inspect the problem. Once he completed his inspection, he explained to the homeowner that her foundation was settling, which American Waterworks could help with. He went on to say that a failing foundation that is left unaddressed won't get better over time. Michel wanted to use our Helical Piers to stabilize and lift the foundation. Michel explained that our helical piers are the premier choice to lift the foundation back to its original position. These piers are mechanically advanced into the soil using small construction equipment or hand equipment. As they are installed to appropriate depths and capacities, they prevent any future settlement issues. The homeowner agreed with the proposal, and the foundation repair project was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later.
Our Foreman, Luis, and his crew installed 3 of our helical piers on the failing side of the home. Now our homeowner can resume her daily life without worrying about her home's foundation!
