Water was leaking into the Pine River Methodist Church causing water moisture, flooding hazards, and a funky smell. They called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to the church, inspected the problems, and came up with a solution that worked for management and their budget. Management was confident in Chad's proposal and presentation, so they signed the contract, wrote out a deposit check, and got the installation project on the schedule. 

Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team began the repairs by taking back the carpet, and breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent water and mud clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System around the half-wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, act as an extra wall protectant, and guide water into the WaterGuard System. Lastly, Ryan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System in the corner. Our TripleSafe is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners, it solves all three water problems in one system, and it provides three layers of protection. To complete the installation, our crew covered and filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Ron, from Eagle Bend, MN, was looking for some solutions for his late father's cabin space. The basement was experiencing water intrusion, and so he and his brother decided to call American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property. 

Following a thorough inspection, Kole gave his recommendations to Ron, suggesting that they invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing as it is installed below the floor, but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog. 

Ron agreed, and our crew got to work.

First, Ou Foreman, Arturo, and his crew began implementing our WaterGuard System, which is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. The team then covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. 

The drainage system now properly guides water to the Super Sump Plus pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. 

Finally, the team proceeded to install the CleanSpace wall System around the perimeter of the basement. Our CleanSpace Wall System is attached to the walls with plastic fasteners so it never falls.

After all was said and done, Ron was very glad he and his brother made the decision to call American Waterworks and had their peace of mind restored.
