A customer from Winona, MN got in contact with us when they began to notice unwanted water entering their basement. They didn't want the water to further damage the space, so they called into our office to see what could be done. They used their FREE estimate to have one of our Design Specialists, Mac, out to their property to assess the situation. Once he completed his thorough inspection, he was able to make recommendations as to how we could help. Mac recommended the use of our WaterGuard french drainage system. He explained that this system inconspicuously sits below the concrete of the floor, catching any water entering the space and filtering it out to the appropriate disposal site, which Mac recommended to be our SuperSump sump pump, an effective and economical water disposal situation. The customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Production crew, led by Foreman, Kiko, installed 40ft of WaterGuard throughout the basement, along with 1 SuperSump pump. Once the job was completed, our customer was happy to know that their basement waterproofing issues were in the past!

They got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Charles Haldeman. Charles went to their home, carefully examined their problems, and drew out a solution that would resolve their issues. Nicole and Tyler got all of their questions answered, so they moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent mud and water clogs, collect leaking watar from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which serves as an extra wall protectant, prevents mold and humidity. and gives the room a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, our team installed our SuperSump Plus M53 sump pump, which is made to keep basements clean and dry for long periods of time, and our SaniDry XP Upright Dehumidifier. Our SaniDry Dehumidifier removes up to 109 liters of water per day and dries up to 2,500 square feet in an 8-foot high basement. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete. Nicole and Tyler were happy with the repairs and could not believe the transformation!

A homeowner in Cresco, IA, was concerned after discovering their sump pump was not pumping water properly. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution before another heavy rainstorm. The homeowner had recently seen American Waterworks working on projects around Cresco, so they decided to look closer at our company. After seeing our impressive line-up, the homeowner knew we were the best choice for their home. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Ryan, one of our Design Specialists. Ryan arrived at the home and started his detailed inspection around and in the basement. Once he completed the inspection, Ryan confirmed that the sump pump needed replacing. Ryan recommended installing the TripleSafe and an IceGuard to ensure the flooding risk doesn't occur. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's recommendations, and the plans were sent to our Logistics team to build the project. Once they gave the final stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Diego, and his crew to begin. Diego and his crew traveled to the home and started by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew installed the TripleSafe. Next, the crew went outside and installed an outside discharge line. Additionally, the crew attached an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is glad to replace its homeowners' struggling sump pumps.
