A homeowner in New Richmond, WI, noticed water in one corner of their basement. Unsure why the water was coming from one corner, the homeowner knew they needed an expert to provide them with a proper solution. After the estimate was finalized, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Dustin, to the home to take a look closer at the basement. Dustin began his thorough inspection of the basement and discovered there was a significant crack in the wall. Additionally, Dustin found that water was sneaking through that crack. Once he made this discovery, Dustin was able to determine the proper solution. Dustin recommended installing FlexiSpan in the corner. The homeowner agreed with Dustin's recommendations, so the proposal was sent to our Logistics team for the final stamp of approval. Once the project was confirmed, it was assigned to our Foreman, Diego, and his team to begin the project. Once the project date arrived, Diego and his team began the FlexiSpan installation. Once the Flexi Span was attached, the crew installed a small section of WaterGuard underneath the FlexiSpan. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know there was no longer a leak in their basement. Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and the production crew started the installation by removing concrete and laying 158 feet of the WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump and our Basement To Beautiful Insulated Wall Panels. Lastly, the crew installed our Battery Backup System to ensure lasting reliability and to keep the sump pump running efficiently and effectively. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. A customer from Hastings, MN, got in contact with us when she began to their basement was becoming drafty and cool, even in the winter months. Our customer was concerned that her home was steadily becoming energy inefficient. When she called in, we set her up with our FREE estimate, which entitled her to a thorough inspection into the issue by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist headed out to the property to take a deeper look at the problem. When he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make recommendations as to how we could help remedy the issue. He explained to our customer that the water intrusion and draft could be attributed to her basement windows, as they were older and outdated.
