A homeowner of Minneapolis, MN had water seeping into their garage, causing them to worry about the life of their home. They found a printed American Waterworks advertisement, so they called our office and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house, carefully examined and diagnosed their problems, and proposed a solution that would benefit their wants and needs. The homeowner was comfortable and confident in our approach, so they went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman and his crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is an interior drainage system designed to collect water seepage from basement walls and guide water to the sump pump. Next, our crew installed our Foamax Wall Panels, which is special insulation that keeps the basement warm and saves money on energy costs. Lastly, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53, which is a sump pump that keeps basements dry and discharges the water out of the basement by keeping away from the foundation. The homeowner was happy with the project and had a great experience from beginning to end.

A homeowner was enjoying his basement space when he noticed a small puddle forming in one of the corners. Worrying about further damage that could be done to the space, he contacted American Waterworks because of hearing positive reviews from his neighbors. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate to see what the problem was. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Jesse Williams, headed out to the property. After completing the inspection, Jesse agreed with the homeowner that it was better to take action now than wait for the problem to worsen. Jesse recommended using our WaterGuard system to address the water entering his basement. Jesse informed the homeowner that the system is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. He went on to say WaterGuard® is what we usually recommend and is our most widely used drain system. It's popular because of its resistance to clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to also collect leaking water from the basement walls. The homeowner agreed on the product and a few days later our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his crew came in with 24 ft. of the WaterGuard to fix the problem. Now our customer can enjoy his basement without worrying about water intrusion.

During their hunt, the homeowner looked into "waterproofing Minneapolis MN" and came across our website. Impressed by our award-winning solutions and services, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate on our website. Soon after, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Daniel, to the home to perform the estimate. Once Daniel arrived at the home, he investigated the basement and found several signs of water intrusion. Daniel alerted the homeowner to these findings. To stop the water intrusion from continuing, Daniel recommended installing the WaterGuard in the problem corner of the home. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and the plans were sent to the office. After the office approved and built the job, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Lane, and his crew. The crew traveled to the home to start the project. Once they arrived, Lane and his crew started by laying WaterGuard in the north corner of the basement. The crew successfully installed the WaterGuard and tied it to the home's current sump pump system. Once the WaterGuard was properly installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was glad to know their basement was safe from any water issues. American Waterworks is happy to provide homeowners with peace of mind.
A homeowner from Minneapolis, MN, was in the market for an upgraded egress window. The previous window well had been handmade and was no longer up to code. Not wanting to sacrifice safety any longer, he began to search for a company that could help. When he found our website, he signed up for one of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dave S, headed out to the home.
Once Dave completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to discuss recommendations. Dave informed the homeowner that he was recommending the installation of our RockWell window well. He explained that RockWell offers an attractive alternative to ugly window wells while providing a safe, code-compliant basement egress. RockWell window wells are a one-piece, rigid construction that will not collapse from backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. They’re UV stable, rust, and rot-proof, and stand up to extreme temperatures. Our egress window wells meet the IRC Egress Code Requirements, providing you and your family with a direct escape from any of the inhabited rooms in your basement. A polycarbonate safety cover keeps leaves and debris out while allowing natural sunlight and fresh outside air to enter your basement. While they are not intended for continual foot traffic, the 10mm fluted polycarbonate cover will hold up to 500 lbs. of weight and prevent family members from accidentally falling into the window well. The homeowner liked the sound of Dave's recommendation and scheduled the job for a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Francisco, and his team were able to replace the egress with no complications. Now, our customer can enjoy his basement space without worries of his window well not being up to code.
