A customer from Rochester, MN gave us a call when she began to notice the concrete walkway leading up to her front door was beginning to sink. She feared that if the issue was left unchecked, it could create a dangerous tripping hazard and cost more down the line to fix. When she contacted us we set her up with our FREE estimate, which entitles the customer to a FREE no-obligations estimate and thorough inspection of the issue. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Jarrett, headed out to the property to assess the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that she was experiencing sinkage because the soil underneath the slab of concrete was shrinking. He went on to say this could be caused by excess water washing the soil away, extreme heat drying it out, or that the soil was poorly compacted when the home was first built. He suggested that she let us fix the issue by using our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution. She agreed and work began shortly after.
Our PolyLevel crew, Troy and Cory, began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slab. Next, they inserted the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that expands as it hardens. Once the slab was lifted back to the original position, our customer was happy to know that her concrete wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon!
A homeowner in Rochester, MN, knew it was time to have their driveway repaired. Wanting to avoid total concrete replacement, the homeowner looked into alternative solutions. After doing some online research, the homeowner found that American Waterworks offers concrete lifting and leveling services. After reading about our previous projects, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. The homeowner awaited the arrival of our Service Technician, Jack. Once he arrived at the home, Jack began his detailed inspection of the concrete. Jack found that the concrete was sinking into the ground, causing unevenness and cracks. To stop the concrete from sinking further, Jack recommended lifting and leveling the concrete. The homeowner agreed with Jack's recommendations and the plans were sent to the production crew. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the home and began the PolyLevel installation. The crew lifted and leveled the entire driveway and sidewalk leading into the home. Once the PolyLevel was installed, the crew focused on filling the cracks and repairing the joints with the NexusPro Selanat. The crew finished the project and cleaned up their materials. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist another customer.
A homeowner from Rochester, MN, was growing concerned about a large gap forming between her front stoop and stairs. Not wanting the issue to get any worse, she decided to call American Waterworks, after she found us on an online home improvement website. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nate, made his way out to the house to complete the homeowner's FREE estimate inspection. Once he completed his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that we could easily remedy the issue by using our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution. He explained that PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected below slabs, slowly lifting them back into place. Nate finished by saying that once the lift is complete, our team installs our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that gets applied to the joints and cracks in the concrete to prevent any elements from getting under the slab, potentially compromising the lift. The homeowner agreed and the concrete repair project was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the project our Foreman, Jordan, and his team made quick work of the lift. Once the job was completed, our homeowner was thrilled to know she no longer had to worry about unwanted gaps in her concrete!
