One of our homeowners in Hugo, MN, was due for their yearly inspection with us, American Waterworks. Knowing that the date was creeping up on them, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and set the date for their annual service. After their date was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Edgar, one of our Service Technicians. Upon Edgar's arrival, he surveyed the work we completed and noticed it was all running smoothly. However, Edgar did take note that the homeowner's sidewalk was sinking and the joint by the garage required replacing. Edgar alerted the homeowners of the issues and recommended that they replace the joint and lift the sidewalk. Knowing we do excellent work, the homeowners agreed to Edgar's recommendations. After getting approval, Edgar directed the plans to the assigned crew, and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Troy, and his crew were assigned to tackle the task. As soon as they arrived, the crew focused on inserting the PolyLevel underneath the sinking sidewalk. The PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, lifts settled and sinking concrete slabs. After the sidewalk was lifted and leveled, the crew removed the weakened joint. Once the old joint was removed, the crew replaced it with the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based sealant. Following the NexusPro installation, the crew cleaned up their job site and left the home. The homeowner was pleased with the repairs completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide another homeowner peace of mind.
A homeowner from Hugo, MN, was growing tired of constantly tripping over his front stairs. His front concrete walkway had been slowly sinking for years, slowly pulling away from the steps, creating the trip hazard. Not wanting the issue to worsen or even impact a future sale of the home, he decided to begin the research process. During his search, he found the American Waterworks website and decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Kyle P, headed out to the home.
Once Kyle finished his inspection of the concrete, he met with the homeowner and informed him that American Waterworks could help fix his issue using our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the slab back into place. He went on to say that we finish our lifting process by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the concrete slab, preventing any debris or moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan, and work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jordan S, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now our homeowner can enjoy his space without worrying about trip hazards!
