A homeowner in Andover, MN, knew it was time to repair their uneven concrete driveway slabs. Remembering their neighbors had similar work completed, they asked if they had any suggestions. The neighbors recommended working with us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Romeo. Once Romeo arrived at the home, he began his detailed inspection of the driveway and sidewalk. Following his inspection, Romeo determined some of the driveway slabs needed to be lifted to match the same level. The homeowner agreed with Romeo's suggestions, and the plans were directed to the office for final approval. Once the office approved the plans, they were sent to our Foreman, Sam, and his crew. Sam and his crew received the plans, so they traveled to the home to start the lift. First, the crew installed PolyLevel underneath the garage apron. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. Once the sunken slabs were lifted, the crew shifted their focus to removing the old joints and replacing them with the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based solution. The crew completed the lift, level, and joint repair throughout the concrete. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew, so they left a kind review. A Savage, MN, homeowner was outside enjoying a nice glass of iced tea when she took a tumble over a piece of uneven concrete. She didn't want the issue to worsen, so she decided to search for a company that could restore the concrete. When she came across our website, she decided to sign up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Gary S, headed out to the home.
Once Gary finished his inspection, he informed the homeowner that we could address the sinking with the help of our PolyLevel. This polyurethane foam expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion and slowly lift sunken concrete back to its desired location. Gary went on to say that, once the lift had been completed, he would like to see our NexusPro installed. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that gets applied to the joints and cracks in the concrete. It works to prevent moisture from penetrating the slab. The homeowner liked the idea of a non-invasive installation, and decided to schedule the project for several weeks later.
The day of the installation rolled around, and our Foreman, Troy J, and his team completed the lift and seal with no issues. Now, our customer can get back to enjoying her outdoor oasis without worrying about taking a tumble!

Phil H. in Belle Plaine, MN noticed that his back patio was sloping downward towards his home. Water would pool in the corner of the patio any time it rained, and he was concerned it was going to cause bigger problems, so he started looking into concrete repair. After asking around, a few people recommended that he contact American Waterworks to get a FREE estimate for concrete repair. He gave us a call and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Brian Ramirez, to his home to inspect his concrete and provide him with a solution. Phil was happy to learn that our PolyLevel concrete repair solution is more efficient and cost-effective than traditional concrete repair, so he chose to move forward with the project.
Our concrete repair expert, Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs for the polymer foam to be injected. He injected into the foam until the slabs were raised back to their original position. Then, he filled back the holes with concrete and sealed the cracks in the concrete with our NexusPro sealant to protect it and give it a nice, finished look. The process only took a couple of hours, and now Phil can enjoy a beautiful, level patio for years to come!

A customer from Belle Plaine, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice his walkway leading up to his house was sinking, creating a sizable gap between the stair and the walkway. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection of the issue by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, headed out to the property to assess the issue. When completed, he let our customer know that the reason the concrete was sinking was due to faulty soil underneath. He informed him that this could be due to excessive heat, water intrusion, or poorly compacted soil from when the home was built. He recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection to correct the problem. Our Design Specialist explained that this modern approach utilized an expanding polyurethane foam to raise the slab back to its original state. He went on to say that this method is far less invasive than alternative remedies. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Dylon, began the process by drilling strategic holes into the concrete walkway. Next, he injected the foam into the hole and closely monitored the lifting process, making sure the slab returned to where it should be.
Once completed, our customer was happy to know he had eliminated the gap and could go back to safely using his concrete slab!
