Sinking Walkway Lifted with PolyLevel in Grafton, ND

A homeowner in Grafton, ND, noticed that her walkway was sinking and slightly tilting down on one side. She decided to search for concrete services in the area and found our website. After browsing our website, she was impressed with our before and after photos and decided to schedule her FREE no-obligation estimate.

In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Dylan J., arrived at the home to assess the walkway. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of a sinking walkway is soil washout. When it rains or floods, water moves through the ground beneath the concrete slab. As this happens, it washes away the soil supporting the concrete slab and, over time, leads to gaps in the soil. To fix this issue, Dylan recommended our PolyLevel, a high-density polyurethane formula designed to lift heavy loads, to lift the concrete slabs. The homeowner was grateful for his explanation and decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Charlie C., and his crew arrived at the home. They began by drilling small holes into the slabs and placing the injection ports. Once those were installed, they injected PolyLevel beneath the slab. The PolyLevel then expands, causing the slab to lift. Lastly, the crew ensures the slabs are level before sealing the holes with concrete. After the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Front Walkway Gets an Upgrade in Maple Grove, MN

A homeowner from Maple Grove, MN, got in touch with us when she decided she wanted to address her front walkway, which had been showing signs of slowly sinking over time. After seeing one of our printed ads, she decided to give us a call and claim her FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Gary S, headed out to the home.

Once Gary finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Gary explained that American Waterworks could address the sinking concrete by using our PolyLevel lifting method. He finished by informing her that we finish our lifts by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent debris and moisture from getting below the slab.
