Matt H. in Delavan, MN had multiple cracked walls in his basement. One of the walls was severely bowing inward and the other had a large stair step-like crack in the wall that had gotten worse over time. A friend recommended that he contact American Waterworks to help solve his foundation problems, so he gave us a call for a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, went to his home to inspect his foundation and design a solution. Jeremy assured Matt that we could permanently repair his foundation by installing 8 wall anchors. Matt was pleased to hear this, so he scheduled the installation.

Our production team drilled small holes through the brick walls and into the soil surrounding the home. Then, they inserted long metal rods into the holes and they secured each end of the rods with anchor plates. Once they tightened the anchors, Matt was able to see a dramatic improvement in the stability of his walls. The wall anchors can continue to be tightened over time to gradually straighten the wall back to its original position. A customer from Savage, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice the walls of his detached garage were beginning to show signs of cracking and bowing inwards. He was afraid that, if left untreated, the problem would continue to worsen, and could potentially compromise the structural integrity of the home. When he called, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a free, no-obligation inspection by one of our System Design Specialists. Once the appointment was scheduled, one of our Design Specialists, Jarrett, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
