The office built the project and assigned it to our Foreman, Chris. After Chris received the plans, he and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. Once they arrived, the crew began by installing 19 GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the basement. Once the GeoLocks were properly installed, the crew dug and placed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Additionally, Chris and his crew installed a new sump pump, the SuperSump+, in the corner of the basement. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned their materials and left the home. Our production crew was successfully able to stabilize David’s foundation by installing 11 PowerBraces around the foundation of the home. They started the installation by securing brackets into the floor as well as the rim joists. Then, they installed the PowerBraces into the brackets and tightened them as far as they could go. PowerBraces do not require outside excavation so it is less invasive than other foundation repair options. The PowerBraces not only permanently stabilized David’s foundation, but they also provide the potential for his walls to straighten back to their original position.
