When the estimate details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists. When the Design Specialist arrived, they introduced themselves to the homeowner and began the investigation of the foundation. The Design Specialist discovered the wall was showing signs of wall failure. To stop the wall failure progression, the Design Specialist recommended permanently stabilizing the foundation walls. The homeowner agreed with the Design Specialist's recommendation and the production preparations began. Our Foreman, Domenic, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. After they arrived, the crew prepared the wall for the GeoLock anchors. Once the wall was ready, the crew installed five GeoLock anchors on the west foundation wall. After the GeoLocks were installed, the crew cleaned up their workspace and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their foundation was properly stabilized. American Waterworks is happy to make another home safe and stable.
A female homeowner in Valley City, ND had basement waterproofing already completed in her basement, and she also needed her foundation repaired. Our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz, recommended our Wall Anchor System, which is designed to straighten the walls without the cost and disruption of foundation replacement. The homeowner was confident in Ian's proposal, so she signed his contract and moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team started the installation by digging small holes beyond the foundation wall and inserting a long, metal rod from the interior foundation to each hole outside of the home. At the ends of each rod, our team installed a wall anchor on the interior side and an anchor plate on the exterior side. Wall anchors are the most versatile wall repair method because they can be used to stabilize walls with a variety of problems, such as bowing and tipping walls, and walls that are pushing in. To complete the installation, our tram backfilled each hole and compacted the soil, ensuring the yard was cleaner than when they found it.

Then, they installed our SentrySeal Waterproofing Membrane to the exterior as well as our SilverGlo Insulation System to hold back moisture and ensure energy-efficient insulation. SilverGlo comibes highly effective graphite-impregnated insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface. The crew also removed sheetrock to install four of our GeoLocks anchors.
