Paul from Elizabeth, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his floor was sloping. Wanting to correct the issue before it could worsen, he called our office to see if we could help. When we spoke with him, we set him up with our FREE estimate and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Evan, headed out to the property to assess the situation. After he finished his walkthrough, he recommended the use of our SmartJack structural support jacks. Evan explained to Paul that our SmartJack system is comprised of galvanized steel beams that can support loads of more than 60,000 lbs. He went on to say that the system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space.
Once installed in your crawl space, SmartJack support posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. Paul agreed with Evan's recommendations and work began a few weeks later.
After our Foreman, Zach, and his team finished, they installed 2 of our SmartJacks and one of our supplemental support beams in the basement of Paul's home. Now Paul can walk across an even floor without worrying about floor joists bowing.
Cailen, a homeowner in Farwell, MN, was concerned with the state of his basement. A failing wall was leaking water into the space. He contacted us because he was afraid that, if left unchecked, the failing foundation would compromise the home's structural integrity and affect the basement's window sills, which could become costly further down the road.
When he called us, we were able to set him up with our FREE estimate, so our Design Specialist, Jesse, headed out to the property to do a thorough inspection of the issue and how we could help fix the issue. When he completed his walkthrough, he recommended using our GeoLock wall anchors. He explained to Cailen that our GeoLock anchors are the ideal solution to permanently stabilize a foundation wall by anchoring the problem wall to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. Cailen agreed to the work, and the project began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Lane, and crew installed three GeoLock anchors on the wall. These anchors allow minimal disturbance to lawn and landscaping. This system can be tightened over time to further straighten foundation walls and pull them back into their original position, which added further peace of mind. Once the job was finished, Cailen was satisfied that his failing wall worries were in the past!
In Granada, MN, a homeowner found an unwanted heavy rain pond in their basement rather than a peaceful retreat. As seen in the "before" photo, standing water took center stage. Kicking water to the curb, our trusty team at American Waterworks installed a robust CleanSpace, alongside the powerhouse TripleSafe Sump Pump and agile WaterGuard system. With the impressive "after" results, your basement becomes more than just extra storage space; it’s now dry and dependable! Because at the end of the rainy day, our custom solutions ensure moisture issues take an eternal vacation.
Karen from Blomkest, MN, was having moisture issues in her basement. She was afraid that if the problem was left unresolved, she would run the risk of doing severe damage to her basement.
Our design specialist, Skylar, visited the property and recommended that the customer invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier for basement waterproofing. It is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone" and making it harder to clog.
Foreman, Arturo, and his crew headed out and got started on making Karen's home a drier, safer place to live. First, our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. The team then covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
The drainage system now properly guides water to the Super Sump Plus pump, which pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Karen was pleased with the results and is glad her basement is now a dry, healthy space.

Karen's driveway was uneven and had significant cracks, and she wanted to fix the problem before it worsened. She called American Waterworks and claimed her FREE estimate for a thorough inspection. Our Design Specialist, Skylar, headed to the property to inspect the driveway and recommend solutions to prevent the concrete slab from worsening. Once completed, Skylar recommended Karen invest in our PolyLevel solution and finish with our NexusPro solution. She got all her questions answered and agreed with the solution, and the team came out to her home shortly after.
Led by Foreman Patrick, our poly crew then strategically drilled holes into the concrete slabs that had sinkage to inject the PolyLevel Solution. The PolyLevel solution is an expanding polyurethane foam injected underneath the concrete slabs to fill the voids underneath the slab caused by soil erosion. Once the polyurethane was injected, the crew finished the project by sealing the cracks and joints with our NexusPro solution. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant formulated for flexibility and longevity to survive harsh weather conditions, helping ensure that the concrete will stay raised.
Karen was happy with the results of her driveway and glad her peace of mind was restored.
