Marilyn P. in Zumbro Falls, MN was tired of dealing with a sunken driveway. It was continuously getting worse over time, and it had become a trip hazard for her and her husband. They saw a commercial for American Waterworks on television and decided it was time to contact us for a free estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, Don Mancilman, to their home to inspect the situation and design a solution for them. They were excited to hear that our PolyLevel concrete repair option is a durable, faster and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair. They liked the proposal that Don developed for them, so they set a date for the installation.
Our Foreman, Jared Wroblewski, and Co-Foreman, Trevor Ellingson, drilled small holes throughout the concrete slabs that needed to be raised. Next, they injected the foam into the holes until the slabs were raised back to their original position. They covered up the holes with concrete and then sealed the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. The entire process only took 3 hours, and now Marilyn and her husband are able to enjoy level concrete for years to come. They are thrilled with the outcome and happy with how quick and non-invasive the project was. We are happy we were able to restore their peace of mind!

Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Darin S, was headed out to the home. When he arrived, he began his inspection, paying extra attention to the outdated sump pump. A homeowner in Colfax, WI noticed their foundation walls were beginning to bow inward. Concerned their foundation was at risk, the homeowner began looking into "foundation repair Colfax, WI". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our foundation repair services. Impressed with our five-star reviews and ratings, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Next, the homeowner called our Appointment Center to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Mac. Mac traveled to Colfax and began the thorough investigation. During his inspection, Mac discovered the foundation was suffering from settlement and needed to be permanently stabilized. Mac recommended installing nine GeoLock Wall anchors along the struggling walls. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to go ahead with Mac's proposal. Next, the proposal was passed along to our Logsitics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logistics team gave the final stamps of approval, then the project was assigned to our Foreman, Gabriel, and his crew. The project date arrived a few weeks later, then Gabriel and his crew traveled to the home to begin the GeoLock Wall Anchor installation. First, Gabriel and his crew made sure the walls were ready for the installation. Next, the crew installed three GeoLock Wall Anchors on the west wall, then six on the south wall. Once all the products were secured, Mac and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relived to know their foundation was properly stabilized. American Waterworks is delighted to provide their homeowners peace of mind.
Brian T. of New Auburn, WI was having issues in his crawl space, causing him to worry about the value of his home. He saw one of our commercials on television, so he got in contact with our office line and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck went to Brian's home, carefully inspected his crawl space, and drew up a solution that would fulfill Brian's wants and needs as a homeowner. Brian was confident in Chuck's proposal and presentation, so he scheduled a date for the installation.
Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his crew started the installation by installing our CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier, which prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. Along with protection from mold and rot, a dry crawl space is inhospitable to termites, cockroaches, and other pests that need excess moisture to survive. By sealing the crawl space, it also keeps away odors that would rise up through the floor and into your home. Next, our team installed our SmartJack Crawl Space Support System, which provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams and restores the stability of sagging floor joists. In this case, our vapor barrier and SmartJacks were compatible, allowing Brian to address the crawl space mold and humidity problems while also repairing the structural issue. Brian was thrilled with the work that was done and had a great experience from start to finish!
