A homeowner from Austin, MN, was growing more and more displeased with his driveway. He had noticed areas of significant cracking and sinkage, creating nasty trip hazards and problems in the snowy months. Wanting to get his issue fixed, he decided to call American Waterworks and set up his FREE estimate into the issue. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Brady, headed out to the home to see what we could do. Once he completed his walkthrough he informed the homeowner of his plan. He wanted to use our PolyLevel lifting solution, a polyurethane foam that expands when injected below slabs, to address the issue. He went on to say that when the lift is complete, our team will seal the joints and cracks with our NexusPro, a silicone-based joint sealant meant to prevent anything from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed to the proposal and the work was scheduled to begin a few weeks later.
Our Foreman, Dylan, and his team did quick, yet meticulous, work on the day of the installation. When the project was complete our customer was thrilled to know they no longer had to worry about uneven concrete!

An Austin, MN, homeowner was beginning the initial process of getting his home ready to sell. However, he knew he had a few things to fix up before he could get the most value for his home. One major project was the uneven concrete patio that sat just beyond his back door. He knew that the sinking, uneven concrete was an eyesore and the cause of numerous trip hazards. He decided to look for an MN concrete repair company. When he found our website he decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brad W, was heading out to the home.
Brad conducted a thorough inspection of the home and sunken area of concrete. When he concluded his estimate, he informed the homeowner we could assist in restoring the concrete with the help of our PolyLevel. He explained that PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill the voids left over by soil erosion and, in the process, slowly lifts the sunken concrete back into place. Brad then went on to say that, once the concrete had been lifted, he recommended the use of our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to all cracks and joints in the sunken concrete and works to protect the vulnerable soil below, as it was specially designed to stand up against harsh weather conditions. The homeowner liked the sound of Brad's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, one of our concrete teams, led by our Foreman, Dylon V, were able to lift, level, and seal the concrete in no time. Now our customer can prepare his home for the market!

A homeowner from Austin, MN, had recently learned about the dangers of radon gas and the risks it poses to households. She was concerned that radon gas could be in the air she and her family were breathing, so she decided to find a Minnesota radon mitigation specialist who could help. On the recommendation of a friend, he decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist was headed out to the home.
When he arrived, he got right to work placing a continuous radon monitoring system, which works to collect radon levels in the home, reporting the average level after a certain time. Our Design Specialist explained that if the levels of radon came back higher than 4 pCi/Ls, he would recommend the installation of a radon mitigation system. A typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. When installed by an experienced radon mitigation specialist, a radon abatement system will lower the concentration of radon gas in your interior air to the minimal levels recommended by the EPA and other health and safety agencies. The homeowner agreed with our Design Specialists plan, but decided to wait until the levels returned to make a choice. Several days later, the results returned, indicating higher-than-normal levels of radon in the home. The homeowner called our Design Specialist to schedule the installation.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Geno M, and his team were able to successfully install the system. Now, our customer has peace of mind knowing that only the healthiest air is circulating in her home!
A homeowner from Austin, MN, was in the middle of a remodel when he yanked out a section of drywall and uncovered his basement wall was cracking in several locations. He took to the internet to search for 'foundation crack repair company near me' and quickly found American Waterworks. He was impressed with the other work we had done in his area and signed up for his FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brady S, headed out to the home to conduct his inspection. Once he completed his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner. He informed them that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from the top, not from the side. So when the side pressure on a wall exceeds what is can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to observe cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom, and/or tilting inward at the top of the wall. Brady quickly followed up, explaining that the issue was serious, but American Waterworks had a fix. Brady recommended our PowerBrace wall repair system, explaining that our PowerBraces are an adjustable steel I-beam system with two important benefits: stabilizing bowed or tilting walls and (over time) forcing bowed or tilting wall sections back to their original position. The homeowner was thrilled by the solution and signed on the spot.
A month later, our Foreman, Jorge M, and his crew were headed out to the home. When they had finished, they had effortlessly installed 7 PowerBrace's on the problem wall. Now, our customer can continue with his remodel knowing that the bones underneath are stable and sound!
