Duane H. had a concrete driveway that was settling below his garage floor. This made the surface uneven and it had become a trip hazard. He was tired of dealing with this concrete problem, so he contacted American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists to his home to provide him with an onsite inspection and a solution. One of our concrete repair experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes in the concrete slabs and then injected the polymer foam, called PolyLevel, to raise the slabs to be even with the garage floor. Once the concrete was raised, he filled back the holes with concrete and filled the cracks in the concrete with our NexusPro sealant which protects the concrete and gives it a nice, finished look. The process took a couple of hours and now Duane and his family can enjoy safe and beautiful concrete for years to come!

A homeowner in Brownsdale, MN, was concerned when they discovered water filling near their outside foundation. Instead of letting the problem worsen, the homeowner knew they needed a professional's opinion. Since Rochester, MN, was not very far, the homeowner knew they needed to start there. Once approved, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Domanik, and his crew. Domanik and his crew began by inserting the PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk. PolyLevel is our polyurethane foam injection solution. Once the PolyLevel installation was complete, the crew shifted their focus to replacing several joints throughout the sidewalk with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. The crew successfully installed all the products, cleaned the lawn, and left the home. The homeowner was thankful to know water would no longer puddle near their foundation. One of our Design Specialists went to her home to inspect her basement and to develop a solution. She was pleased with the thorough plan that we proposed to her, so she chose to have our waterproofing system installed. 

Our production team started the waterproofing process by removing the concrete around the perimeter of her basement floor and installing our WaterGuard drainage system. The WaterGuard connects to the TripleSafe sump pump that they installed in the corner of the basement. The water that was leaking into her basement before is now guided through the drainage system, into the sump pump, and then expelled from the home through the discharge line. A homeowner from Hayfield, MN, was getting tired of constantly tripping on a piece of sunken concrete in front of his home. He decided to begin his search for a company that could help fix the situation. Through his searches, he found the American Waterworks website. He decided to sign up for our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Aidan H, headed out to the home. 

Once Aidan completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Aidan explained that American Waterworks could address the sinking concrete with help from our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the slab back to its original place. He went on to say that we finished our concrete lifts by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete, preventing unwanted moisture and debris from penetrating the slabs. The homeowner agreed and work was scheduled to begin a few weeks later. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Dylon V, made quick work of the installation. He successfully eliminated tripping hazards, and now our homeowner is thrilled that he can walk across his walkway with no worries!

A Hayfield, MN,  homeowner was in the process of upgrading his basement when he had the idea to add a bedroom to the space.
