Doug and DeLaine A. of Kasson, MN had bowing walls in their basement and didn’t want it to get worse. They did some research and called American Waterworks to set up a Free Estimate. We sent out our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, to talk to them about our foundation repair products and to come up with a solution. After an in-depth diagnosis, Doug and DeLaine liked the proposal that Chad offered so they went ahead with the project.
Our foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew began the install by digging three small holes outside and in the back of the home. In each hole, they installed a long, metal rod from the soil through the bowing wall. On each end of the rod, they mounted and twisted on our GeoLock Wall Anchors, which is a unique wall anchor system that indestructibly evens out your foundation wall. After installation and over time, the anchors can be tightened to further strengthen the walls and pull them back to a regular position. To complete the installation, our crew replaced the soil and made sure the yard was neat and clean. Doug and DeLaine were thrilled and excited that they chose American Waterworks to save their basement!
Shirley of Kasson, MN noticed that there was a crack on the exterior side of her foundation wall that was caused by the bowing of the wall. Shirley began to worry about the structural integrity of her home and contacted the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks to claim her FREE estimate, entitling her to a free home inspection to resolve the issue Shirley is experiencing. Once an appointment was scheduled and set our Design Specialist headed out to Shirley's property and began a thorough home inspection to get a proper diagnosis of the home and provide the best solution that would prevent any other issues from arising. He proposed to Shirley that the best solution would be to invest in our GeoLock Wall Anchors. Our Anchor System is made to stabilize the foundation by anchoring walls to hard compact soil beyond the foundation, pulling the wall back to its original position. Shirley agreed with the proposal and scheduled the date of installation. Once set our Foreman, Raul, and his team arrived at the scene they began by digging three small holes on the inside of the garage. Once dug, the production crew drilled a metal rod through the exterior of the problem wall to each designated hole. Attached at the end of the rod is a GeoLock Wall Anchor which could be tightened to further stabilize the wall. When the wall anchors have been installed the crew then backfilled the holes inside the garage and poured concrete over the holes to provide a more finishing look. Shirley was happy with the installation and is now worry-free that her foundation is in danger.

A homeowner in Kasson, MN, noticed their basement was smelling musty. After doing a quick investigation, the homeowner discovered that sections of their carpet were damp. The homeowner did not want their problems to worsen, so they wanted to find a solution. Uncertain about who to work with, the homeowner asked a friend who had a similar issue. Their friend recommended working with us, American Waterworks. Trusting their friend's recommendation, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Nick, one of our Design Specialists. Nick arrived at the home and the homeowner showed him to the problem area. After Nick did a thorough walk-through of the basement, he found the source of the water. Nick alerted the homeowner of his findings and recommended an action plan. The plan included installing a new drain system and sump pump. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Nick's suggestions. The plans were directed to our Foreman, Gabriel, and his crew and they traveled to the home. Once they arrived, Gabriel and his crew began installing the WaterGuard, our patented below-floor drain, around the perimeter of the basement. Next, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe sump pump. Then, the crew attached CleanSpace, a waterproof plastic vapor barrier, to the basement walls. To finish off the project, the crew attached an IceGuard, an anti-freeze fitting, on the outside discharge line. The crew swiftly completed the project and cleaned up their materials. The homeowner was grateful to know their basement was no longer at risk. American Waterworks is happy to waterproof another home.
A homeowner in Kasson, MN was tired of dealing with the problems in his driveway space and wanted to make a change. The American Waterworks company website popped up in the results and he quickly became interested in our FREE no-obligation estimates, so he signed up for his own. A homeowner from Kasson, MN, got in touch with us because her concrete driveway was showing signs of sinking, slowly creating trip hazards across the surface. She decided to begin the search for a company that could restore the driveway and eventually found the American Waterworks website. She decided to sign up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Aidan H, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
Once Aidan finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Aidan explained that American Waterworks could address the sinking driveway with the help of our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, and slowly lift concrete slabs back into place. Aidan went on to say that once the driveway is lifted, our team would go in with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to all cracks and joints in the concrete that was lifted. It works to prevent any unwanted elements from penetrating the slab, protecting the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner liked the sound of the solution and scheduled the work to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Dylon M, headed out to the home. He and his team were able to complete the lift and seal without complications, and now our customer can enjoy her driveway knowing all trip hazards have been dealt with!
