A homeowner in Rockwell, IA, noticed there was a large gap growing between their driveway and garage. Not wanting the gap to continue growing, the homeowner began looking into repair options near them. After hearing wonderful things about American Waterworks, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Brady, one of our Design Specialists. Brady arrived at the home and started his detailed inspection of the concrete. Shannon G. in Oronoco, MN had a large crack in the foundation wall on the back of his garage. He knew that he would be taking a large risk if he chose to wait to repair his foundation, because it could fail at any time, and become a much larger expense. He started researching foundation repair companies when he saw an advertisement for American Waterworks. He decided to call us for a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, to his home to inspect his foundation problem and find a solution. Rick talked him through his options and he developed a plan that was the most beneficial for him. After meeting with Rick and getting his questions and concerns addressed, Shannon felt that we were the best fit for him, so he scheduled a date for the installation.
Our crew installed 4 wall anchors from the outside of his garage into the soil underneath the concrete in the garage. They drilled long rods through the brick until they hit supportive soil. They removed the concrete in the garage where they would need to put on the plates for the anchors. They installed the plates on either end of the rod and tightened the anchors. Lastly, they replaced the concrete and cleaned up their work area. The anchors secure and stabilize the wall. They continue to straighten the walls and can be tightened over time as the wall gradually moves back into place. Our foundation repair systems are guaranteed for a lifetime, so Shannon can rest easy knowing he chose a permanent solution to protect the foundation of his home.

Heather J. in Oronoco, MN received high results after testing for radon in her home. She was concerned about her health and safety, so she contacted American Waterworks for more information on our Radon Mitigation System. She chose to have our Mitigation System installed as soon as possible.
Our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, installed our radon mitigation system in less than one day! The U-tube manometer indicates the vacuum pressure inside the radon system. This will let you know if the radon fan is working or not. If the tops of the red liquid are equal, the fan may not be working or may have been turned off. The U-tube is designed to indicate that the system is actually on and at what pressure. Only a radon test can indicate the levels of radon.

An Oronoco, MN, business owner was dealing with a piece of uneven concrete in front of his business. The uneven concrete was bad enough to warrant warning tap, as others had already taken a tumble. The business owner wanted the issue to be taken care of, so he decided to search for MN concrete repair companies. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Romeo V, headed out to the property.
Romeo completed his inspection and informed the business owner that we could fix the sinking concrete using our PolyLevel. Romeo explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sunken concrete. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, slowly lifting the concrete back into place. Once the lift has been completed, our team applies our NexusPro. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that gets applied directly to all cracks and joints in the concrete. It works to keep water from getting to the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner liked the sound of Romeo's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the install, our Foreman, Jordan, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now our customer can proudly open the doors of his business, knowing his front walkway trip hazard has been properly fixed.
