Our Foreman, Geno, and his crew member, Dakota, began the process by introducing themselves to Gary and his wife and ensured all of their questions were answered. After a clear introduction, our crew got to work and drilled a hole in the basement concrete floor to form a suction point. Next, our team connected PVC piping from the suction point up through the second floor to the attic, where our team installed the Radon Mitigation System. From the system, our crew formed a hole in the ceiling of the attic, leading to the roof, where the radon was able to escape the home. Mike M. of Austin, M had bowing foundation walls in his basement. He found American Waterworks online, so he called our office and requested a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Jarrett, went to Mike's house, inspected his bowing wall, and proposed our wall anchor system, which is designed to stabilize foundation walls and pull them back to their natural position. Mike was confident in the solution, so he went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew installed twelve of our anchors. This installation is an anchor-rod installation that involves soil removal and backfill. Mike was very happy with the work and told the crew that he was proud of their work ethic!

A homeowner in Austin, MN called American Waterworks because she was getting water in the basement.  As the temperature was warming up and the snow was melting, water was pooling in the homeowner's basement. We got them set up for a free estimate to solve their water issue. Our design specialist came up with a personalized plan for the homeowner. On the day of the installation our crew arrived and began work. They started the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard, which is an interior drainage system that prevents mud clogs and collects water leakage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is designed to prevent water from seeping through the walls and save money on energy costs.  To finish up the project, our crew filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them, ensuring the space was neater and cleaner than they found it.

A follow-up call was made to the homeowner and they were very satisfied with the work that was done. The homeowner stated that the crew did a great job, was very clean and efficient.

Wanting to get an answer to this question, the homeowner began searching for a company that would provide them with answers. Knowing American Waterworks has done past work in their area before, the homeowner looked into our services and previous jobs. The homeowner was impressed and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Darin. After Darin arrived, he began inspecting the foundation inside and outside the home. Darin discovered that the foundation was lacking and required stabilization. Darin recommended that GeoLocks be installed outside the entire perimeter of the home. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and production commenced. Our Foreman, Crescencio, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the GeoLock installation. The crew installed 20 GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the foundation. GeoLocks anchors are stabilized walls by being attached to the outside soil. Once all the GeoLocks were secured into place, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home. The homeowners were pleased with the work completed by the crew.
