A homeowner in Prescott, WI, got in touch with us when she noticed that her concrete driveway was sinking, causing a separation between the driveway and garage floor. Not wanting the issue to worsen, she decided to call American Waterworks. We set her up with our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Kyle P, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
After Kyle completed his inspection, he informed the homeowner that she could fix her sinking issue with our PolyLevel solution. He went on to say that our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when its injected under concrete slabs, slowly lifting the slabs back into place. The final part of our lifting solution is installing our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that is applied to the cracks and joints of the concrete to prevent anything from getting under the slab, potentially compromising the lift. The homeowner agreed and work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
Our Foreman, Troy, and his team made quick work of the installation and when the job was done, our customer was thrilled to know her sinking concrete worries were in the past!
A homeowner in Kanawha, IA, was worried their foundation crack was going to cause serious issues to their home. Concerned this could cause structural damage to their home, the homeowner began looking into foundation repair near Kanawha, IA. The homeowner looked into "fix basements in Iowa" and one of the first companies to show up was us, American Waterworks. After taking a closer look at our services, the homeowner was impressed with our work. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Brady, to the home to begin the detailed inspection. Brady traveled to the home and began the thorough inspection of the basement. During his investigation, Brady determined the north wall was struggling the most and required stabilization. Brady was able to come up with a solution that would permanently stabilize the wall, so he presented his proposal to the homeowner. Once the homeowner heard the proposal, they knew it was the best option for their home. Brady sent the proposal to our office to receive the final stamp of approval. After our Logistics team approved the plans, they scheduled it with our Foreman, Chris, and his crew. As soon as they received the plans, Chris and his crew traveled to the home and began the installation. First, Chris and his crew installed 12 GeoLock Wall Anchors along the north wall. The crew secured the interior and exterior anchors to ensure the wall would stay stable. Once all the GeoLocks were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew, so they left a kind review. American Waterworks is happy to repair your struggling foundation walls.
Bruce W. in Ellendale, MN noticed that his concrete on his driveway was uneven in a couple of spots and was interested in making repairs and cosmetic changes to his home, starting with his driveway and sidewalk. His goal was to have the driveway completely level and have the cracks sealed. After researching concrete repair contractors and receiving estimates, he decided to have American Waterworks repair his concrete.
Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete to inject a polymer foam called PolyLevel. Once the foam is injected into the concrete, the foam expands and raises it. They injected the foam into multiple spots throughout the driveway and sidewalk until the concrete was raised and level to its original position. Then, they sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete and give it a nice, finished look. The process only took a couple of hours, and Bruce was very pleased with the results!

John J. noticed the basement of the Jaguar Communications Building in Owatonna, MN was leaking water. He was using this space as an office area and knew that he needed a permanent solution. He contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate and met with Pete Wangen, one of our Design Specialists. Pete designed a thorough plan that was specific to John’s waterproofing needs, and John decided to move forward with the installation of our waterproofing system.
Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the room and laid our WaterGuard drainage system. This system guides water properly to the SuperSump sump pump, which then discharges the water to the outside of the building. Then, the crew installed our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to protect the walls from any water seepage and prevent mold growth. John was pleased with the results and glad he made the investment to protect his building.

Bill S. in Owatonna, MN had water leaking into his basement where the floor met the wall. It had started to create a musty smell, and he wanted a permanent solution. After a friend recommended American Waterworks, he gave us a call and set up an appointment to meet with Chad Johnson, one of our Design Specialists. Chad worked side-by-side with Bill to design a unique solution for his home. Bill was impressed with the plan and moved forward with an installation date.
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. WaterGuard is our recommended and most widely used drain system. It's popular because of its resistance to clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to also collect leaking water from the basement walls. Then, the crew connected the WaterGuard to a SuperSump sump pump and hung our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls for a bright, clean look. Bill was pleased with the results and glad he no longer has to worry about a wet, unhealthy basement!
