Sheral in Clear Lake, IA was suffering from a wet, musty basement. After learning about the services our company offers, she scheduled an appointment with one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, to receive a FREE estimate. Dylan walked her through her options and answered her questions and concerns. She was pleased with the thorough plan that Dylan created, so she decided to have our waterproofing system installed.
One of our Foremen, Jesus Covarrubias, and his crew installed 43 ft. of our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of her basement floor. They connected the drainage system to her SuperSump sump pump that we installed. The WaterGuard properly guides water to the sump pump and from there, the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Lastly, they installed Foamax basement wall panels, which made the basement a bright and comfortable space. The Foamax wall panels insulate her basement and provide her with savings on her energy bill. Sheral is pleased with the transformation and is confident that her basement will remain dry!

Mark S. in Clear Lake, IA had an old, failing sump pump that was unable to keep up with the water seeping into his home. He was concerned about the air quality of his home, and he knew that he needed to address the problem. As a previous satisfied customer, Mark knew that American Waterworks was more than capable of the job.
Our production crew installed our SuperSump sump pump and our SaniDry dehumidifier. The SuperSump includes a powerful Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour out of the basement. The SaniDry has a powerful blowing motor that circulates dry air throughout the space, aggressively drying out the basement and controlling humidity. Mark was happy with the process, and glad his basement is now a dry and healthy space.
Judy P. of Clear Lake, IA had water leaking through the cracked walls of her basement, making her question the stability of her home. After doing some research online, she came across American Waterworks waterproofing and foundation repair products. She called our office and set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell. Ryan went to her home, inspected the problem, and came up with a solution. Judy was comfortable with Ryan's proposal, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, and his production crew began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement, forming a trench. Next, our team applied 102 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System around the wall perimeter, which prevents mold, mildew, and humidity build-up, and gives the room a clean and bright appearance. Then, our crew installed 11 of our foundation repair PowerBraces around the wall perimeter, which are made to stabilize basement walls and straighten them out over time. Lastly, our crew installed 102 feet of our WaterGuard System in the formed trench. Our WaterGuard acts as an underground drain and transports water to the sump pump. To complete the installation, Jeromy and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Judy had a remarkable experience from start to finish and was grateful we were able to assist her and her home repair needs!
Bryan H. of Clear Lake, IA had a cracked foundation wall in his basement, causing him to worry about further bowing or cracking. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas. Dylan went to his home, inspected his wall, and drew up the solution of our GeoLock Wall Anchors. Bryan understood its design and got all of his questions answered so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production team began the project by digging three small holes outside of the home beyond the foundation. In the basement, Jesus and his crew inserted a long, metal rod to each hole outside, and tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the end of each rod. The wall anchor system permanently stabilizes a foundation wall by anchoring the wall to the compact soil and pulling it back to its original position. After installation, wall anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the wall. To complete the installation, Jesus and his team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. Bryan said he was happy with the project!

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the project by installing our drainage matting. The purpose of drainage matting is to direct the water flooding the crawl space into the perimeter crawl space drain and sump pump system. Next, our team installed our Foamax Wall Panels around the crawl space perimeter. Our Foamax is a foam insulation that reduces moisture condensation, provides comfort, and makes the walls look nice and bright. Then, our crew installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier on top of the drainage matting. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is made to stop moisture from passing through the walls and floors. Lastly, Juan and his team installed our crawl space SmartJacks, which provides solid support for sagging beams and restores the stability in a crawl space. Susan had a remarkable experience!
