Douglas L. of New Richland, MN had water moisture coming in through his basement walls, causing him to worry about humidity and moisture problems throughout his home. He had work done from us before, so he called American Waterworks and had our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, out to his home to inspect his basement. After a thorough diagnosis, Douglas was confident in Ryan's solution, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his crew installed 123 feet of our Foamax Wall Panels around the entire basement wall perimeter. Our Foamax Wall Panels provide comfort, energy bill savings, and makes basement walls look clean and bright. Foamax is a higher-up foam insulation panel that reduces condensation for exceptional moisture protection. Douglas was happy with the transformation and had another great experience with our team!

A New Richland, MN, homeowner was facing an issue. Each time there was rain in his area, his basement would fall victim to water intrusion. He didn't want to deal with the problem anymore but wasn't sure how to go about fixing it. One day he found himself at a home show in Owatonna, MN, and as he was wandering through the rows of vendors, he met our Design Specialist, Brad W, at our booth. He and Brad got to talking about his leaky basement, and Brad said he would be more than happy to visit his home and complete one of our FREE estimate appointments into the issue. The homeowner was more than happy to have Brad out to his home, and scheduled the appointment for the following week.
On the day of the inspection, Brad headed out to the house and got right to work looking at the basement. Once he finished, he met with the homeowner. Brad recommended the installation of SuperSump sump pump. Brad explained that the SuperSump is an effective and economical solution to basement flooding. It is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump® includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner liked the sound of Brad's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Diego, and his team placed one SuperSump sump pump in the basement with no complications. Now, our customer can enjoy the rainfall, knowing his basement is protected!

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his crew started installing our waterproofing system by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier system along the walls. The combination of these waterproofing products ensure that water will be properly discharged from her basement and that it will remain a dry and healthier space. Then, they installed 5 PowerBraces along the damaged foundation wall to halt any further movement and stabilize it. PowerBraces also provide the potential to straighten the wall as they are tightened over time. Melissia was pleased with the results and is glad she chose to invest in the protection of her home.
