A homeowner in Ellsworth, WI, went into their basement when they discovered standing water. Alarmed by this discovery, the homeowner knew they needed to get a second opinion. After asking their local Facebook group, several members recommended working with us, American Waterworks. The homeowner went to our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. When the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Rick, one of our Design Specialists. When Rick arrived at the home, he began doing an in-depth analysis of the basement. Rick discovered that the water came from the footing of the walls. Once he found the source of the issue, he could provide the homeowner with a suggested solution. Rick recommended installing several waterproofing products to prevent any further issues. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed. After receiving the stamp of approval, our Foreman, Kevin, and his crew traveled to the home to install the products. First, Kevin and his crew installed the WaterGuard around the perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew installed and secured the TripleSafe sump pump. Finally, the crew attached an IceGuard to the outside discharge line. Once all the products were installed, the crew put the basement back together. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is glad to provide another homeowner peace of mind in their home.
A homeowner from Ellsworth, WI, was dealing with a cracked, uneven patio. Not wanting to have to deal with trip hazards in her space, she decided to begin the search for a company that could fix the problem. One night, she saw one of our ads on TV and decided to give us a call. She set up her FREE estimate and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Canon T, headed out to the home.
Once Canon finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his findings. Canon explained that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel method. Our PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It slowly fills voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifts the slab back into place. He went on to say that we finish our lifts by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent unwanted moisture and debris from getting below the slab. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan, and the job was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Troy, and his team completed the lift with no issues. Now, our homeowner can enjoy her outdoor oasis without the worries of taking a tumble!

Randy G. in Ventura, IA had water leaking into his basement. He was concerned about the damage that it was causing to his home and was worried that the air quality was being compromised, so he contacted American Waterworks for a free estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists to his home to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution to fit his needs. Randy approved of the plan and moved forward with an installation date.
Our Foreman, Hugo, and his production crew got to work and installed 178 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement and our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. Our TripleSafe is backed by three layers of protection and is our most reliable sump pump. The WaterGuard properly drains water to the sump pump and from there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Randy is glad he made the investment to protect his basement for the long-term.

After our Logistics team approved the plans, it was scheduled with our Foreman, Jeromy, and his crew. Once the project date arrived, Jeromy and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Jeromy and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Dennis O. in Hayward, MN had water seeping into his basement that was causing damage to his home and it was making the space unlivable. Dennis decided it was time to seek help from a professional waterproofing contractor, so he began to research local companies. He came across American Waterworks and was pleased to see that we offer FREE onsite inspections, so he set an appointment.
One of our Design Specialists, Mike Radosevich, went to his home to evaluate the situation and find a solution. Mike developed a thorough plan to waterproof his entire basement for a lifetime. Dennis felt that Mike’s plan was the best fit for his needs, so he moved forward with the installation.
Our production team removed the concrete perimeter of his basement to install our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, the TripleSafe sump pump was installed. Dennis also chose to have our CleanSpace vapor barrier installed, which prevents leaks and mold growth. The CleanSpace brightened his basement and made it a more welcoming space. Dennis is pleased that he chose the option that protects his basement for a lifetime. He can now enjoy a dry, livable basement!
