A homeowner from Faribault, MN, noticed that the concrete slab just beyond his garage door was beginning to sink, creating a trip hazard. Not wanting anyone to take an unnecessary tumble, he decided to research companies in the area that could help with the problem. After doing his research online, he came across our website and decided to take advantage of our FREE estimates. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Aidan, headed out to the home.
After Aidan finished his inspection of the concrete, he informed the homeowner that he was right to call. Concrete issues are often cheaper when caught and addressed earlier. He went on to say that American Waterworks could fix the sinking slab by using our PolyLevel lifting and leveling method. Our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected below slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the slab back to its desired resting spot. Aidan went on to say that we finished the process by installing our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the concrete, preventing any unwanted water from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed and the work was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Patrick, and his team made quick work of the project. When the job was completed, our customer was thrilled to know he no longer needed to worry about trip hazards!

When Tony concluded his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendation. He informed the homeowner that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution. He went on to say that our lifts are completed with the application of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed with Tony's plan, and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.

A Faribault, MN, homeowner was looking to add a bedroom to his basement but was running into an issue. For his new addition to be a legal bedroom, he needed a means of egress that met codes of safety. He began the search for companies in the area that could help, and ended up finding our website. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to the home.
Once our Design Specialist completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Our Design Specialist recommended using our RockWell Window Well. RockWell offers an attractive alternative to ugly window wells while providing a safe, code-compliant basement egress. RockWell window wells are a one-piece, rigid construction that will not collapse from backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. They’re UV stable, rust and rot proof, and stand up to extreme temperatures. A polycarbonate safety cover keeps leaves and debris out while allowing natural sunlight and fresh outside air to enter your basement. While they are not intended for continual foot traffic, the 10mm fluted polycarbonate cover will hold up to 500 lbs. of weight and prevent family members from accidentally falling into the window well. The homeowner liked the sound of our Design Specialist's plan and scheduled the work for a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Luis D, was able to install the RockWell with no issues. Now, our customer can enjoy his new addition, knowing its code-compliant!
A homeowner from Faribault, MN, was experiencing water intrusion. After each rain, he was left with standing water by the baseboard of his basement walls. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he found a MN basement waterproofing company. After coming across our website, he decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Darin S, headed out to the home.
Once Darin concluded his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Darin explained that because the water was entering the home through the walls and the floor, he was recommending three of our products. First, Darin wanted to install our CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets applied directly to unfinished walls. It works to trap water entering the space through holes and cracks in the foundation and direct it downwards, keeping it off the floor. To complement the CleanSpace, Darin suggested our WaterGuard, a below-floor French drain that collects water from the CleanSpace, as well as any water that is entering through the floors. The WaterGuard directs the flow of water to the appropriate disposal site, which Darin wanted to be our SuperSump. An effective and more economical solution, the SuperSump includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner liked the sound of the products working together, and scheduled the installation for a few weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Arturo M, and his team ended up installing 1 SuperSump, 23ft of CleanSpace, and another 136ft of WaterGuard. Now our customer can enjoy his basement without worries of water intrusion!

A homeowner from Faribault, MN, was dealing with an outdated sump system that was on her last nerve. The homeowner was concerned that if she didn't do something about the old system soon, she would be left with a mess in her basement come the first melt of spring. She decided to search for crawl space repairs near Faribault, MN and quickly found American Waterworks. She signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ryan M, was out to the home.
Ryan completed his inspection and, when he finished, informed the homeowner that he believed the basement could benefit from replacing the old system with our TripleSafe sump pump, the most reliable pump in our lineup. This innovative machine is specially designed with three levels of protection for both your basement and your peace of mind. In times of normal functioning, the system has a powerful cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower sum pump set at the lowest level. For times of heavy volume water, the TripleSafe boasts a second, more powerful Zoeller 1/2 horsepower pump set a bit higher in the liner that will take over. Ryan went on to say that he would also recommend our UltraSump battery backup system. He explained that the UltraSump will alert you of power failure with an alarm sound when it runs and silences when the pump cycles off. This system can pump out an excess of 11,500 gallons of water on a fully charged battery. The homeowner was thrilled with the new system recommendation and scheduled the job on the spot.
Several weeks later, our Foreman, Kevin M, and his team successfully placed the system. Now, our customer can have peace of mind heading into the warmer months!
